It wasn't a picture of old bjork but an old picture of bjork. Google lied to me
I like her when she takes her face off.
Just saw my first 4 Phish shows during their 13 night run at Madison Square Garden.
My friend is seeing all 13 nights and he's loaded so he offered to buy me tickets.
I hadn't listened to much Phish before seeing them, but I was astounded by their shows.
Their ability to improvise as a group and build tension is fantastic. Their jams were euphoric at their peaks. I especially loved when they departed from the songs they were jamming and went into a completely unique jam.
They have such a distinctly goofy personality, and the light show was astoundingly beautiful.
If you haven't seen Phish, you ought to give them a shot.
What are your thoughts on Phish?
Have you been to any of their shows? If so, what did you think?
Seriously! I see this shit all the damn time with fellow music listeners, other music websites, and of course /mu/. What's the big damn idea? It sounds just like US pop but in Korean. I'd get it if we were talking about Juju music and then you show me "Juju Music" by King Sunny Ade. That stuff is actually good and has effort behind it. K-Pop artists are almost all fucking Korean Backstreet Boys I swear to god. If someone could recommend me an actually good K-Pop album I would love to listen to it. Please? I know I'm not the only one who actually wants to hear a good K-Pop album that's not just recycling American Boy Bands from the late 90s but just in Korea. I REALLY want to appreciate the genre. Any suggestions or people who have my view, or disagree?
they want to fuck the cute korean women
FUCK YOU FUCK WHO SPAMS THE SHORT HAIRED BLONDE GOOK
FUCK YOUUUUUUUU
The same thing with Rap, bad music marketed well to a specific population
>Bjork film playing this Saturday
>Death Grips concert happening on the same night
Do you think I might catch them at the theater if I go to watch this movie? It starts 3 and a half hours before the concert is meant to begin.
>make a song called music to walk home by
>make it far above average walking tempo, rendering it unwalkable to
>>74295040
It's called Music to Walk Home By not Music to Walk Home To, you fucking retard
>>74295154
I've been dodging this album for years, despite falling in love with bloodhail. Now I've decided to finally go through and enjoy this one.
Now I know there was an accompanying work of literature, so I'm wondering if I should read that first or just get into the album then read later. What do you /mu/tants think?
album first, read later. context of the pamphlet isnt important when it comes to the album. just make sure you're sitting alone in a dimly lit room free of any distractions.
>>74295032
I'd recommend listening to the album first, then read the booklet and connect the dots while you listen again. It's almost like hearing something completely different when you understand the context.
>>74295073
not op but connect osme of the dots for me, anon
I read the pamphlet and loved it. would like to hear others' takes. Antiochianism is a hell of a drug
Deathconciousness thread
>WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HUDSON
>DEEP IN THE BOSOM OF SUBURBIA

ITT: "One hit wonder" bands that are actually really good outside their biggest hit
The Darkness. They're like an 80s glam metal band but with a fucking awesome singer, lyrics not always about sex, and talent.
The Vapors
>>74295341
No, not at all. You're the literal opposite of correct. Absolute shit novelty band ripping off another shit novelty band: Turbonegro.
>ONE DAY THEY
>WILL SEE IT'S LONG GONE
What does /mu/ think of The Garden?
Never heard.
>>74294900

>half of it is a drum solo
Didn't know OP listens to Dream Theater
Someone gimme a quick rundown on this dude?
>>74294817
He's jewish and likes movies and music.
He's put out a buttload of music. Start with a Masada or Naked City cd.
>>74294817
Massive discography, much of it is mediocre but he has a ton of gems as well
His best work was Naked City, Masada/Electric Masada, The Dreamers, his more film-inspired albums (FilmWorks, The Big Gundown, Spillane), his thrash-jazz (Spy vs. Spy), and his Book of Angels series
