Well, at least a few of their songs. I have 4 of them on my "general listening when I'm bored" spotify playlist. The 4 are Feed the Machine, Hero, How You Remind Me, and Burn It To The Ground. Why is it such a meme to hate what is essentially a mediocre rock group?
I will take the silence as AGREEING
Basically the best album of the last 25 years
good boy
it's really great
That's a bit of a stretch....
Not even sure it's the best rap album of the past 20 yeas.
why is a 18 year old home schooled ukulele and xylophone playing girl with the voice of an angel better than any k pop on planet earth in 2017?

new earl when
first half of this is so damn good
Does anyone else find this really scary for some reason? I think it's the 9/11 imagery years before it happened
not really
the whole "HELLO I'M NOT HERE RIGHT NOW" is corny cheesy shite and ruins any "serious" or artsy tone that it tries to go for
similar kind of stuff throughout the song though
Yeah Laurie Anderson is a dyke hack fuck her
>Help! I beat somebody
>Help! Not just anybody
>Help! You know I beat someone
Who do you think he was singing about?
>>74296086
probably paul
>>74296086
Paul. That's why he died. Not in a car crash, but to the hands of serial-abuser John Lennon. It's all there in the backmask of Revolution 9, a song Yoko wrote to expose John's abuse of both her, and the other band members.
Stuart Sutcliffe, whom he gave an aneurysm for having gay sex with Ringo (which made him a violently jealous guy)
Unironically as close to an objective stance as you can get on this.
You see, Ween fans are the type of fans that want to appear "different" in every social interaction. They seek out weird music, they put pineapple on their pizza, I'm sure they wear socks with sandals in an irony turned post-irony move.
The thing about Ween is that they always had the creative chops. Just not the confidence. They are the equivalent of the super smart trouble maker in school that just wont apply himself. Dean Ween even stated, "I will say that the only record that I ever felt really confident about was The Mollusk. That's my favorite record we've ever done."
With The Mullusk they finally applied their enormous talent to make their masterpiece.
The problem? Well, they had already built up this fanbase obsessed with weirdo image and they've done their best to NOT elevate this incredible album. The dipshits send people on their way to the audio dutch oven that is The Pod as their first taste of Ween and potential fans get scared off.
Good show you image obsessed geeks. You may think your (failing) attempt to elevate The Pod, Pure Guava, or Chocolate and Cheese translates to people thinking that you're super interesting... well you're not. You the indie equivalent of a manic pixie girl.
Quebec is better

I just don't like the way it sounds, I liked them more with a little crunch
also lyrically it's complete garbage, almost as juvenile as a tenacious d album
>>74484485
>also lyrically it's complete garbage, almost as juvenile as a tenacious d album
This is such bullshit. Lyrically it's better than any album they released. Sonically you can try to elevate previous albums as "crunchy" but you can pull that shit with literally any album.
Dope album art
Hey /mu/,
I'm seeing death grips for my worst time tonight and want to know if they will play any pre-NOTM songs or will they just play the new stuff? Thanks!
>not as big a fan of them any more but used to love their shit back then, hoping I can hear some of the stuff that got me into them.
Cheers
>>74295871
Lmao fuck
I'm seeing them for my *first time
Nice building
It's a best of set with a focus on BP bro. I'll be at the Sydney show too. Should be fuckin tight

what is this
Was 2007 the last truly good year this earth has seen?
2013 was fucking great
>>74295773
2007 was the year our present cultural reality began to take shape, and our present cultural reality is garbage
>>74295817
I think it was still pretty decent until the end of 2010
2011 is when shit went really south
Fuck yeah, I can be a DJ for the first time in my life!
And once again, American hip hop totally disregarded the break and it was only made good in the UK with hardcore, jungle and drum & bass
wait so DJing is just playing two records at the same time? I've never bothered to look up what DJing meant. Holy fuck I'm laughing.

Why can't you?
Because Mori Goldsteinbergensteinowitz hasn't singled me out
