Well, Tamatoa hasn't always been this glam
I was a drab little crab once
Now I know I can be happy as a clam
Because I'm beautiful, baby

Did your granny say listen to your heart
Be who you are on the inside
I need three words to tear her argument apart
Your granny lied!
I'd rather be...

Shiny
Like a treasure from a sunken pirate wreck
Scrub the deck and make it look...

Shiny
I will sparkle like a wealthy woman's neck
Just a sec!

Don't you know
Fish are dumb, dumb, dumb
They chase anything that glitters (beginners!)

Oh, and here they come, come, come
To the brightest thing that glitters
Mmm, fish dinners

I just love free food
And you look like seafood
(Like seafood)

Well, well, well
Little Maui's having trouble with his look
You little semi-demi-mini-god
Ouch! What a terrible performance
Get the hook (get it?)
You don't swing it like you used to, man

Yet I have to give you credit for my start
And your tattoos on the outside
For just like you I made myself a work of art
I'll never hide; I can't, I'm too...

Shiny
Watch me dazzle like a diamond in the rough
Strut my stuff; my stuff is so...

Shiny
Send your armies but they'll never be enough
My shell's too tough

Maui man, you could try, try, try
But you can't expect a demi-god
To beat a decapod (look it up)

You will die, die, die
Now it's time for me to take apart
Your aching heart

Far from the ones who abandoned you
Chasing the love of these humans
Who made you feel wanted
You tried to be tough
But your armour's just not hard enough

Maui
Now it's time to kick your...
Hiney
Ever seen someone so...

Shiny
Soak it in 'cause it's the last you'll ever see
C'est la vie mon ami
I'm so...

Shiny
Now I'll eat you, so prepare your final plea
Just for me
You'll never be quite as...
Shiny
You wish you were nice and...

All the best things have already been written. Therefore, writing anything new is pointless.

>some european or american fuckers who have been writing for like 0.00001% of human history have already written EVERYTHING good

yeah, okay kid.

Human nature isn't as complex as you think. Pretty much all philosophical issues were discussed (with suprising conclusion - we kant know nuffin!), the questions of human condition were explored, at this point all whats left is for humanity to solve physics, create sentient robots, and suicide itself.

English is the international language of business, commerce and trade, diplomacy, science, and engineering.
Speaking it does not make one intelligent just as not speaking it does not make one unintelligent. However, it is smart to learn it.

>more native chinese speakers
>not reading beautiful arabic poetry
>not reading the Greeks in the original Greek
>getting cucked by british and american imperialism
>believing commerce, trade, diplomacy, science, engineering makes for good literature

Why so bourgois, anon? Life isn't all about commerce and economic power.

I realized today that I'm lonely. That I'm entirely cut off from other people and don't have a single friend.

It has never bothered me before (thanks in part to 4chan) but today I realized what a fucked position this is. Very few girls will want to date someone who has no friends, for example.

Are there any books about this? Any characters in a similar situation?

Which philosopher was best at blowing people the fuck out? Was it Nietzsche for this passage, in which he lambasted Schopenhauer for playing the flute?

>The difficulty of providing a rational foundation for the principle cited may indeed be great—as is well known, Schopenhauer did not succeed either—and whoever has once felt deeply how insipidly false and sentimental this principle is in a world whose essence is will to power, may allow himself to be reminded that Schopenhauer, though a pessimist, really—played the flute. Every day, after dinner: one should read his biography on that. And incidentally: a pessimist, one who denies God and the world but comes to a stop before morality—who affirms morality and plays the flute—the laede neminem [offend no one] morality—what? is that really—a pessimist?

>be 11 or 12 year old me
>visit relatives
>watch TV in living room with cousins
>cousin wants to switch channel to some stupid show
>I say to her "Fuck off" or something similar
>she starts insulting me and tries to get the remote violently
>too bad for her I'm a boy
>lose my shit and beat her
>she cries

Even though it is 10 years since then, I still regret it. I'd even apologize for that but I think it would be weird apologizing for something that's so long ago, especially because we were in our tweens.

My dad loaned me his Wittgenstein & von Wright collection when I started university. I dropped out and never returned them.

For me it was my father, he had a massive library and would always encourage me to read. He even employed some reverse psychology by limiting how much I could read before bed ( this was when I was 8 or 9ish), knowing that I would rebel and want to read more.
