It isn't. Trans people, especially gynephiles, just develop the fetish at a heightened rate. The modern mental health community recognizes that 3 out of 4 gynephiles have experienced AGP-like arousal at some point but not the idea that the AGP-like arousal is the source of the gender identity of trans gynephiles. Transsexuality is thought to be caused by natal factors.

So, i've been stuck with the desire to go on hrt for a long time. There were times when i almost did it (and ordered them), and times where i tried to forget about this (with the harmless help of drinking and drugs). The thing is, i still can't ignore this, and everyday i'm more worried about aging as a man (i'm 18 now, T will make me look like shit in less than 1 year). However i have reasons to don't take hrt:
>Social, family and health problems. I can't hide hrt forever in the social life (mood swings and boobs, serms are too expensive), family (they'll notice every single thing) and health (what if i need a surgery or end up in the ER?)
>I'm already too old tbqh, to live my life i should have started at 16 or something like that but my teenager years are almost over, while everyone is already living i would be starting.
