Is this event worth checking out? I find myself curious because since the end of Remender's X-Force run it feels like Marvel hasn't done a lot with Evan. Duggan's Deadpool wasn't exactly a satisfying continuation and AXIS was just a shunted story with barely any character progression. Is Apocalypse War interesting or am I better off avoiding it?

I only ever saw a few episodes of the old X Men cartoon when I was a kid, so I decided to give it a go.
It's... kinda lame. I mean, in a way that I'm going to keep watching the show, but it's production value is pretty low. I don't remember the other cartoons of my childhood looking like that. Then again, trying to re-watch Pokemon was god awful.
Rogue is super hot though, I can't disagree with that.

I have a hard time choosing. I prefer the greater emphasis on team work and superheroics in TAS, but Evolution was just so goddamn comfy.

So who else remembers this guy actively calling himself Blacula and not Dracula? Am I confusing it with another black dracula cartoon character?
Was this something that got changed early in the run and there's just no evidence of it anymore?
Come to think of it, the "Return the slab" guy from courage the cowardly dog used to be in 2D animation.
I'm not saying let's make this a cartoon mandella effect thread, but maybe a general "Things you misunderstood/misremembered from a cartoon" thread?
Cause I legit want to know if Blacula's name changed or if I'm confusing him for another character. I distinctly remember a quote "Black dracula" as part of the joke while basing the name off a real world movie, Blacula.

Hmm maybe. I didn't watch the simpsons growing up but my brother did.
I actually developed an OCD tick after watching the episode where Bart sells his soul to Milhouse. Milhouse says something like "When you sneeze, your soul sneaks out but gets sucked back in when someone says bless you."
So i started to say "bless you" to myself from that moment on. I still do. I'm not religious at all so it's really just a compulsion and it sucks.
Even if someone else says it i still have to say it Used to say everything twice too. Sucked. No one in my family noticed either.
I was in like 2nd grade when that happened if that helps.
Anyway I hope that story was at least entertaining. Sorry for the shitty thread.

Final Crisis was originally supposed to be a reboot thats why it was called FINAL but DC got cold feet when people were buying the books and liking what was going on so they held off for a couple of years
thats why it didn't matter if all these universes were getting destroyed they were just going to come back after the reboot

Adult Swim did their Stuff You Haven't Seen panel tonight at their outdoor festival at SDCC. Here's what happened:
In between segments they show ads for their streaming shows (Fishcenter, Assembly Line Yeah!, Bloodfeast, etc.)
-They start with a short clip of the main character from the upcoming show The Jellies running down his show. He chokes the director while talking about trying to be the first black show that isn't canceled after a few years, asking where Boondocks and Loiter Squad are. Looked kinda dumb.
-Trailer for Mr. Pickles, which is coming back in the Winter.
-Rick & Morty season 3 trailer is show, starting July 30th.
-They show a new episode of Squidbillies in its entirety. It concerns Dan Halen and the secret order of the Turquoise Goblet and conspiracy theorist Early trying to uncover it.
-They play an episode of Apollo Gauntlet, the whole season of which is up on adultswim.com. It's the episode with the eclipse.
-Next is an episode of upcoming show Lazor Wulf, a show about a wolf with a lazer on his back and his friends, Jamaican BMX Yeti and Stupid Horse. DMX plays God. Nuff said.
-A new pilot called Tigtone is shown. It's a medieval fantasy show animated with CG over traditional art, like a moving storybook. Lots of mocking of RPGs.
-Finally they play the final episode of Samurai Jack. Thought they'd show an alternate ending, but it was just the episode as aired on TV.
Overall, not bad. Squidbillies episode was good. Apollo Gauntlet always looked skippable, but this episode had a few chuckles (mostly from Apollo being so deadpan in an otherwise He-Man fantasy world.) Lazor Wulf seems ok, kind of an adult Problem Solverz looking show, but it had DMX as God, which was fantastic. Tigtone was fun, better than most of the pilots they get.
