And that's one reason why a lot of the comic fans disliked that show.

Well it's really remembered for what it meant for cartoons and animation as a whole. Ducktales was purely made to be a show for a show and not to push merchandise. Disney sunk a bunch of money into a giant gamble and it paid off so hard, we got the rest of the Disney Afternoon from it and the rest of the cartoon industry after it was never the same.

Yes, it's very gentle, but there's a pure sense of adventure to it even if it is story of the week.

That said, it sucks after the first 65 episodes that is season 1. Like a lot. I also don't think may people remember the 'show', just that it wasn't shit.

Bet your ass I will. I sent 'em one last year but I fear it might've gotten lost in the mail, because the first time I sent 'em one they replied without issue. I also have a second script lined up but they only accept one per letter so no dice there.
The good news is that now I have a bunch of Zarjaz strips to send 'em as examples of my writing, plus a bunch of articles on my blog that they themselves have been reblogged before, so I'm gonna shove all that up in the last page and hope for the best.

Live adaptations of cartoons are always awkward to some degree. Only ones that aren't are Aladdin and the Lion King on Broadway because they took them in a completely different direction in terms of art style and story telling.

616 Fantastic Four vs. Ultimate Fantastic Four
>This one was an easy pic because I enjoy all the members of the team whereas Ultimate Sue is a goddamn bitch and drags the team down by default. If I had to choose between Reeds it would be Ultimate Reed but only by a little bit. Near the end of the Ultimates he committed himself to the betterment of the world without the need for his future children. His proactive attitude was fucking awesome.
