That's the point, to show that even though all these horrible things are happening, people are still trying to do their best to make the world a better place. If anything it gives it an even stronger message. Also, it was rated fucking MA, what did you expect?

DD and IF might have that need to preserve through the darkness but Luke and JJ just whine about how they arent a hero and how everything is awful in the world. JJ is truly a terrible human whose awful to towards anyone that shows a shred of care towards her. There is no joy in these shows. Sure you take out the bad in the end, but it feels like you had to burn everything to get there.

I do agree that there's a pacing issue. Snyder just can't do exposition without filling pages upon pages with boring word balloons, leaving little room for the fun stuff like that.

It wasn't very good, I was entertained by it but quite honestly I wouldn't say it was good, honestly out of ALL the Spider-Man movies it felt the most "empty", just seems like a cash grab and seems more fitting to be a Disney channel original movie than a Hollywood blockbuster

Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 tend to be the movies that get the most flack, and for good reason, but they still felt like more of a movie than this
