Why are mutants such unrepentant, smug scum? Are they just genetically predisposed to be bad people?
Let's be real: asshole terrorist Cyclops is a million times more interesting than boy scout preppy Cyclops. And Emma was always a bitch.

>>94770513
So this is gonna be a thread by and for people who are only familiar with the X-Men through /co/ posts?
>>94770513
>boy scout preppy Cyclops
So you only ever watch the movies/cartoons or what?
Mandy mainly wants the scythe's power, and Billy mainly wants Grim's company, right? Would an equitable settlement have the scythe go to Mandy and Grim himself go to Billy? Maybe with a few visitation days thrown in (Billy gets a few days a month with the scythe, Mandy gets a few with Grim)?
>>94770383
I always wanted Grim to just kill them. Is that an option?
>>94770383
You fail to realize Mandy is terribly afraid of being alone.
Proof: the ep where we see her future worm version. Also the one where Mindy steals Grim.
>>94770383
Mandy is also a vindictive bitch. The Scythe is a good perk but even if he didn't have the Scythe she'd definitely just want to keep him because nobody takes her property.
Does this series ever get good?
It's a pretty generic sci fi. If you don't already like it, you won't change your mind. Much like umbrella academy, it's musician author is pretty much the only reason to give it a look.
Do you think it helps Wolverine to inspire him to stab people with such ferocity because it hurts when his claw come out
SCOTT SAVE ME!!
>>94770106
Shouldn't it hurt when he stabs people, as well?
What if Wolverine is just some claws with the mutant power of having a person around them?
What do i have to do to aquire 5th dimensional reality warping powers, travel to a parallel universe, and fuck with superman
>>94769912
It's very simple: just masturbate 6 times a day for a week, clap your hands, believe real hard, and then kill yourself. You may need to repeat the process a couple of times. Results may vary.
Become a writer and write a story about you fucking with Superman
You may have to get Lois out of the way first.
Does anyone ever feel bad for creators of good cartoons that get unnecessarily shat on? Pic related.
>>94769866
This, Uncle Grandpa was very good and no one gave it a good chance. I loved all 156 episodes of it. Gave me a Looney Tunes/Tex Avery/Animaniacs vibe, and we haven't had anything like that in a while.
>>94769944
I mean... at least it got 156 episodes. That's a fucking ton for any kids cartoon
>>94769866

>umm...vacation vacation vacation vacation?
truth is a lot of the autists who follow cartoons as adults can't appreciate a good gag.

Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.

Who was in the wrong here?
>>94769645
Darkwing because he's too much of a loner. Gizmoduck's smug superiority of course didn't help matters, but Darkwing would have been a standoffish prick regardless.
>>94769768
Fair enough.
Witness what a difference it makes when you give the same type of character a bad voice actor.
VA isn't bad, simply inappropriate. He is a 12 year old that sounds like a 15 year old and it's jarring. And unlike Dr. Girlfriend it's not played as a joke.
>>94769475
Kids not sounding like kids isn't a problem if their voice actor is good, though. The old Powerpuff Girls, Dib and Gaz, Dexter (Lab), Billy & Mandy, Ed Edd n Eddy, Dipper and Mabel/Louise Belcher.
But Ducktales seems to be following Fairly Oddparents voice direction where all the kids need to deliver their lines by SCREAMING and not changing the tone or pitch in order to have better comedic timing.
>post yfw there's a tweest involving Gyro cloning back-ups of the nephews, and each wave of clone triplets gradually becomes closer to their original Barksian hivemind characterization because their learning beds keep feeding them encyclopedic Junior Woodchuck trivia
Did anyone tape any episodes of this show when it was on? So far, only 3 episodes are available online
>>94769406
What're the odds there'd be even less episodes available without the girl?
>>94769406
You could always watch the superior detention cartoon. Plenty of waifus there for >>94769712 as well...
real subtle waifu thread here m8
I thought The Defenders would be riddled with Avenger comparisons and references but there was only ONE reference throughout the whole thing. fuck

>announce show about a team of street level heroes
>first show that will build in to this series establishes the origin story of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, who is basically the quintessential street level Marvel villain
>two years and five seasons worth of television later, the team-up show is finally released
>Fisk doesn't even get so much as a namedrop
What the fuck are they doing?
>>94769343
I honestly can't think of a single thing about Marvel Netflix shows that couldn't be described as a wasted potential.
>>94769343
Taking an actor as good as D'Onofrio and making Fisk behave like a petulant manchild about everything, instead of letting D'Onofrio get the opportunity to play his cool, smug, psychological typecast self, should have been your first warning flag things were going to be shit about all of this.
>>94769343
I said this in the last thread, but superhero film/TV productions are obsessed with this bizarre idea of 'stakes' where the only 'stakes' that'd matter are the possibility of the city or planet being destroyed, especially in team-up shows. So the Defenders is about the Hand undertaking an incredibly generic plot to destroy New York because...?
Yes, Fisk would have been a better villain, absolutely. He better suits the smaller scale, long-form storytelling of the Netflix shows.
More capeshit heroes need finishers.
The only one I can think right now is Miles' venom blast and it's not even a finisher, it's a fight skipper empowerment device.
What are some good animation podcasts? Not including Pizza Party.
