Mandy mainly wants the scythe's power, and Billy mainly wants Grim's company, right? Would an equitable settlement have the scythe go to Mandy and Grim himself go to Billy? Maybe with a few visitation days thrown in (Billy gets a few days a month with the scythe, Mandy gets a few with Grim)?

Death is a revolving door in Grim's universe, it'd be way more annoying following them around in the afterlife. And who knows the pair might mellow out a bit in adulthood, whereas they're probably age fixed once they die.
