imo based off of what I've read and personal experience, not really. Especially with sigils. You just have to believe in the power of your own subconscious. It would help to invoke some sort of godform for aid in your practice, but even then you don't have to have any lasting faith in the entity. You just have to believe in that moment.

I'm pretty sure that the sigils you're looking for are called something else. it is a concept that is covered a bit in the book Black Arts by Richard Cavendish.

actual sigils are signatures for stuff like astral beings.

What I do know is that you don't need a deity to use these, and you made the right choice by leaving Christianity, it just destroys spirituality. it's the complete opposite of it

I recall a nightmare from when I was six years old and I reckon it was heavily influenced by thumb thumbs from the first spy kids movie. I remember these bags of goodies that were sold by Street vendors which contained sweets and some cheap toys-- one toy that stood out most was this gag hand that was made of foam. All the kids were buying the goodie bags and parents thought they made great gifts. I gave into the fad and purchased a bag of my own and I ate all the sweets but the only toy I got was the eerie foam hand that when held felt stiff despite thinking they were soft. The best way I can describe what holding the thing feels like is the dead finger trick but with the entire hand. I remember being home alone and I was sitting on the living room floor when this crimson red fog gradually filled up half the room. I stood up in a panic and I couldn't see my feet or the carpet but could faintly make out objects like our couches. The upper part of the living room looked like it was illuminated by red light bulbs which I figured was because of the fog that rolled in. I tried making my way out of the house when I felt something clutching my ankles and my heart skipped a beat when I realized it was the foam hand that somehow became sentient. I bumped into our coffee table and jumped on the couches trying to shake the hand loose. I was terrified of the feeling from touching it as well as giving it a chance to snag onto my arm or even worse-- my face. I eventually knocked it off by banging it against a wall and swatting it off my leg with the remaining fingers it had on me. I ran in circles praying that I wouldn't run into it since it was well-hidden when I managed to swing the front door open and escape as the hand crawled after me in a similar fashion to the one from the Addams family. It was a sunny day and like many horror movies, I tripped and flopped onto the ground. I looked up to find my best friend atop a building refusing to help me at which point I awoke.

I used to have really terrifying dreams as a little kid.

There was a recurring one where I would be face to face with a horrific witch, unable to look away as she gnawed at me endlessly.

There was another one so scary I can hardly put it into words, It was like I was in a large gathering of people who were all gleefully committing suicide with strange- inhuman clown like ushers assisting.

Process

You will sleep for about 4 - 5 hours
Wake up and stay up 4 hours or till you get tired again
Sleep for 8 hours and trip balls.

In those 8 hours you attempt to break out of the so called matrix and become lucid.The process is really simple when done right, the problem is just becoming lucid, if anyone ever tells you anything else they are full of shit, i've lucid and OOBE since i was a kid and so i know how it is done...

I can't say exactly what this is for until we have established enough workers, this will be a military operation make no mistake its not for the light hearted, but to anyone who ever wanted to astral travel i will teach you like I've done in the past for a few people that struggled but that was for fun, this is for purpose.

The astral never should be messed with but I feel this is a means for positive action that is important, I need very serious people, people willing to listen, people who have the patience (very important) I have not done any of this stuff for years but something important came to me, and I feel obligated to act on it like my life here depends on it, but not just my life the life of you and all people and future generations. I don't know why I was called upon, the last dreams I had weren't much but they are becoming more and more lucid so i know i'm being hailed, i'm being shown things like failures of companies, false accusations with lack of real evidence, i know it relates to what is happening in this world right now, but I don't see connections yet. But its too deep even for /x/ to go into detail, perhaps too deep for my brain but the last dream involved a company called galaxy who were like the richest most powerful company on the planet that basically kill anyone that gets too close to the truth. I forget the name of the virus they inject into their employees, but symptoms appear and then the victims are put onto drugs created by them, thus victims are controlled.... It is very sketchy at the moment, I did not gain full lucidly, I got very close, I remember thinking to myself I have dreamt about this while in the dream, the whole thing was 100% real to me, full solidity and colour like I was watching a real life movie. When I woke Up I was shocked because I don't dream like that unless it truly has meaning.

I was inactive for a long time in this field, there is something that i can't ignore and its asking me due to my political stance to do something.

Funny you should mention bad trips. Once, I was on about 2 and a half tabs of LSD with my friend (can't remember the actual dose off the top. but it was more than I had ever done before). We had been eating grapes and watching TV and generally having fun tripping balls. I guess I over ate or something, because I ended up throwing up all over the living room. Usually, this wouldn't be a huge deal. I'd just clean it up. But when I looked at my vomit and saw all of the grape peels and parts. I couldn't shake the thought that I had literally vomited up either my lungs or guts. As a fellow tripper, I'm sure you know that once a thought pattern gets reinforced. it's crazy hard to break that pattern. So, I spent the next several hours convinced that I had just died and that everything around me was just the process of going to the void. What made it worse was that around the time all this was happening, I heard police and ambulance sirens outside my house. It was at this point that I was absolutely certain that the EMT's and police were about to burst through my door, and I was going to watch, disembodied, as they failed to try to bring me back to life. Later in the night, I found myself certain that my roommate was actually the angel of death and that he was watching over me, waiting for me to accept my fate. I couldn't break the illusion until my other roommate and best friend came home from work. I still think about that often, and honestly it had me fucked up real good for a few months. Although, in retrospect, I'm glad it happened, because I think it gave me some insight into what it is like to be unable to be in reality.

tl;dr - Don't eat grapes on two and a half tabs.
