In my junior school there was a legend about a ghost named Penelope who lived in what must have been a Janitors cupboard. She had different coloured fingernails(?), which for some reason was terrifying to everyone, and would sometimes be seen in the boys toilets.

It was all bullshit of course, but nobody ever went near the janitors cupboard or hung around in the toilets.

Come to think of it.. it was probably the fucking janitor who made the whole think up to stop us touching his shit and pissing up the walls.

In my junior high there was this sewer grate tucked between a corner behind the school. Every once in a while we would hear noises if we were close, but the turning point was when we saw two glowing red eyes and teeth. Turns out someone a 10th grader who helped out during the halloween haunted house decided to put a glow in the dark doll there, and the noises were rats that usually hung around there. But it was a pretty cool haunt when i was 13

The hanging off belt loop camera style and dirty floor make me think of Alan's Lessons, I think it was Alan. I forget what the exact titles and channel are/were but it's these sad videos of a guy with a squeaky voice explaining how to do mundane tasks, and it starts to get really weird and sinister as it goes on. Post the link if you can find it, it's been a few years.

Everything is eternal at the fundamental level. If you are trying to forget I take it you are an inverted one speaking through, and your own spiritual body is then hell which I can understand trying to forget as a fellow "spectrumite" and creation. I also assumed others are trying to stomp out potentials somewhere in some fashion, as to what almost happened to me,- it is the nature of conflict after all. I never expect anything but the worst, because that is almost what is solely given.

I have seen one real one, for a tornado warning. It wasn't too creepy because it wasn't a surprise. We all knew extremely bad weather was around, and we all knew tornadoes were likely. It is a bit creepy, but not more than knowing a tornado is on the ground somewhere near you.

Certain animals like to collect shiny objects to decorate their nests/lairs with or just plain hoard. Birds like crows and ravens, for example, but as I doubt you have any birds coming into your house unnoticed, I would say mice or rats. That's probably the best bet. Call an exterminator or lay some traps yourself.
