Can someone recommend a RF (channel 3 only) to HDMI converter?

I have an SNES and I would like to play it on my monitor, but my monitor only has HDMI input.

I found several converters that have a remote and let you change the channel etc, but I don't need any channel besides 3. I found a converter similar to what I need, but converts to RCA:
https://www.amazon.com/RCA-Compact-RF-Modulator-CRF907R/dp/B0014KKV7W

Preferably under $20 please.

No you haven't: that converts *from* RCA.

Anyhoo, RF-to-anything converters are rare and specialist, because they are, essentially, a TV tuner. And anyone that wants a TV tuner buys a TV.

And the SNES doesn't output RF anyway, so what you would be doing would be converting a component signal to RF, then from RF to HDMI. What you should be doing is taking the component signal from the SNES, and converting it straight to HDMI.

If you've got a European SNES, get a cgi.ebay.com/291352474845 and a cgi.ebay.com/162060758498

If you've got an American SNES, get a cgi.ebay.com/290777374739 and a cgi.ebay.com/122045749387

Quality will be better with the European SNES's RGB output. If you have an American SNES, you can get a SCART cable for it so you can use a SCART adapter, but it's a custom jobbo you'll need to make yourself or buy from somewhere like ( https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/super-nintendo-entertainment-system-famicom-snes-n64-rgb-av-scart-cable-ntsc-tv-lead-wire-cord ). Don't listen to their blather about composite sync: the SCART standard has no pin for their "composite sync signal", mandates sync-on-composite-video, and no TV uses the sync signal directly anyway: they use it to set their own internal oscillator. A proper SCART cable is wired for composite video on the composite video pin.

I'm looking to save up money to build a new PC, for gaming, and I was wondering if there's anything I should know.

My budget will be approximately $1000-1200 once it's all saved up, but it can be flexible.

I'm looking for 60-90 fps and 1080p from gaming and if there's any other information I should give I'd be happy to help.

In what context? alt + left click usually does the trick.

I mean like saving pictures instantly, like on 4chan for example. Alt+Left click ain't doing shit for some reason. I thought it was that though.

How long ago was it that you used this command? Maybe you used a quick save plugin/add-on that uses that command.

Back in early 2000's I remember getting a virus for Windwos XP, it would make a pop-up screamer (with sound) appears wandomly on my screen.
But it was easy to predict since the screen would go black for about 3 seconds before the screamer appears.
I can't remember the name of the virus.

Narcosis virus
9 June 1994

While this virus is nothing new, it is not bad for my third virus. This
multipartite virus can really spread across a disk fast! It will infect
.COM, .EXE, and .OVL files, as well as a floppy disk boot sector and hard
disk partition table. For anyone curious, I have only been progamming ASM
for eight (8) months, so before you critisize, look at the experiance. So
you think, "Awe, this guy just hacks old virii and copies code. He couldn't
program a parasitic virus if he wanted to." For your information, I have
never hacked a virus. I have never written an overwriting virus. And I have
never copied code. Look at all my viruses. They are all unique to anything
out there. I am sick of people dedicating viruses to Sara Gordon and ARCV,
so I dedicate this virus to Mnemonix, a true programmer and virus writer.
Keep up the excellent work. People like you should be commended! I hope you
enjoy this virus. Spread it often. And lets make this a summer to remember!

VIRUS RESEARCH CENTRE HOLLAND LAB,
BBS +31703857867

Doc file for the disinfector K-SCITZO.EXE (c) R. Loerakker 1994

Disclaimer:
===========
This solution comes as is. It has been tested and did work correct
on our machines. Neither the Virus Research Centre Holland Lab,
or one of the members or the programmer of this software can be
hold responsible in case your machine reacts different. You have to
blame that on the writer of this virus.

About the virus:
================
It is a fast COM and EXE infector, containing the following decrypted
text: " I feel a little scitzo"
" SCITZO - by "RED A", Lund, Sweden 1994"
Infected files will increase 1329 bytes.

About the disinfector:
======================

The disinfector will repair infected files, do follow the steps given
below, and make sure you boot from a clean bootable floppydisk!

The disinfector K-SCITZO is very simple to use.

1. Boot from a write protected bootable floppydisk.

2. Use the program as follows:

K-SCITZO
scans the current drive.
K-SCITZO <drive:>
scans a specific drive, e.g. K-SCITZO D:
K-SCITZO <drive:path>
scans the directory (including subs) e.g.
K-SCITZO C:\BBS\FILE\UPLOAD
K-SCITZO C:\TOOLS\
K-SCITZO ..\ANYDIR
etc....

The EXE file contains a self check and may not be altered !

If you found a virus, switch of the computer for about 10 seconds
and boot again.

Regards,
Richard Loerakker

I need a laptop for a digital and general artist tier. Priority to specificaly to work well with digital drawing tablets.

Second priority is for it to be as much quality and longworking which can also roll movies and can handle small games. I do NOT want an expensive all in gaming station or anything like that.

From what laptop brands should I choose? I read mixed reviews from each and all of them.

I'm sorry I'm such a tech newbie, also general laptops thread I guess.
