I'm doing a final comparison between SLIing two Asus Strix GPUs and SLIing two Titan X Pascal GPUs.

Can anyone tell me which card I should go for? I'm looking to get the highest possible stable framerate at 4k, but I've heard the Titan X Pascal might not be worth it, while the SLI'd 1080 Strix seems to give the highest possible framerate at 4k across the board according to this benchmark site. https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_1080_SLI/7.html

Hello, /wsr/, I have a problem connecting my bluetooth headset with a computer (running win10)

Headphones are a bit old but unused until yesterday, and they work perfectly with my phone.
I have a PC with a generic bluetooth 2.0 radio, and phones were working fine until I walked out of the room and they disconnected. When I got back, they didn't work (PC showed them as paired, so I clicked 'remove device' and then bluetooth settings menu froze), so I pulled bluetooth USB out and reinserted it. Now PC won't find headphones (they still work fine with phone), also they show up as installed in device manager and i can't remove them.

I updated apt-get update and apt-get upgrades using the links via kali website.

Can someone help me out if possible please?

Hi, tech-wizards of /wsr/. I recently tried to install kali linux to my computer in a triple boot with ubuntu. I decided against it as the install process was way beyond my level and restarted my computer, booting from the drive.

Everything on Ubuntu and Windows still work, but now when i start my comp, before going to the grub screen i get the intel boot agent screen saying it failed some sort of media-scan thing and then it works fine. Any idea what that is?

So I'm having this weird issue with one of my external hard drives. Now this is a hard drive I've had for a few years now, so it has quite a lot of data on it. I had to restart my computer for various reasons, and when I did, it told me that I needed to format my L drive (the external hard drive). I figured it was just being weird and ignored it for the moment. Then the power got knocked out and my computer shut off. After I turned it back on, the weird shit started.

In "This PC" the drive shows up as "Local Disk" with a generic icon, and is completely inaccessible. Furthermore, if I boot the computer while the drive is plugged in, Windows Explorer won't load at all. Once I unplug it, it loads fine. After plugging back in, any action I try to do on it freezes. I can't format it even if I wanted to.

Even if I open a partition manager, it just freezes once it starts analyzing the hard drive.

So I booted into Linux to see if that could help. Mounting it freezes. fixntfs says nothing is wrong. GParted freezes once it starts analyzing that disk. And the weirdest part is even testdisk freezes if I try to use that.

Is there any way I can recover my files? Is the drive still usable at all?
