the literally only thing the games have going for them are the introduction of abilities and how easy they are to hack.

Gen 4 had better designs, better remakes, better legendaries overall (even though Dialgia and Palkia both look like ass too), fucking pokemon god himself, better graphics, the REAL physical/special split unlike the halfassed shit that gen 3 pulled, and it made fighting types actually somewhat usable.
