rules:
>one pokemon caught per route
>legendaries must all be caught and boxed, and cannot be used or released
>mudkip cannot evolve
>dubs can force a temporary rule change or overwrite a singles GET
>trips can force a pokemon release or overwrite a dubs GET
>quads can force a permanent rule change (within reason) or overwrite a trips get
>we don't talk about quints.

Why people still plays with Smogon rules, ruining all the fun of the game?
You can't use the best of your favoritemon because some elitist says it's illegal, but he doesn't work for GameFreak, Nintendo or any serious championship.
I can have fun with my Moody Bibarel and Shell Smash Baton Pass Huntail in game, but when I try to play online the ragequit is massive.
Lets play the game in the way it was originally intended to be, for God's sake.

Smogon bans pokemon that cause too much over centralization in a metagame and doesnt have enough viable counter. For example the pokemon Scizor is a menace in UU and hardly anything counters it there so its banned to OU where it has counters.

The entire community decides what they want to see suspected or banned, it isn't some one "elitist". Everyone who plays has made the conscious decision to. I'm not really that into smogon, but if you're gonna argue about it at least understand how the system works. Also, serious smogon players play on showdown, so whoever you play on wifi are probably casuals who still think smogon is "official".

Anyone have experience with Powersaves 3DS - Not loading online content? It works with all my other 3DS games, even Pokemon Y but won't load online content for Alpha Sapphire. It just keeps spinning!!!!!!!!!

If their trainer dies, would a Pokemon grieve like that of a Human or would it react differently? Also could a Pokemon be a pallbearer?

Pokemon turn into pure energy when they're inside their Pokeballs. They wouldn't starve to death because they wouldn't have stomachs in that state.
However, they seem to be able to come out of their Pokeballs under extreme circumstances (to help their trainer not freeze to death). A Pokemon could most likely get their trainer some medical attention.
If the trainer really is dead though, it depends on whether the body is found. They might come out of their pokeballs and bring the body to its proper place while the parents/family/etc make funeral arrangements. (Unless the coroner takes the body away, in which case you won't be seeing it)
Pokemon would grieve, there's no doubt in my mind about that.

Want a standard ability on a Heracross, I get the hidden ability instead. Want a hidden ability on a Piloswine, can't get the hidden ability.
