Does anyone actually defend the design of this Pokemon? It's not just the fact that it's food, it's the fact that it's man-made food (and something that didn't even exist in the Pokemon universe up until the generation it was introduced). It would have been fine if it was based on a Poffin or some other food that exists in the Pokemon universe but this is a fucking ice-cream.

While those designs are pretty bland, they're a Pokemon-style version of two common JRPG enemies. Grimer is the Pokemon equivalent of a slime monster and Voltorb is the Pokemon equivalent of a chest mimic. And some poor designs in other generations do not justify an even poorer design.
Even if you're able to like the fact that it's an ice-cream, the face is just fucking stupid as well. I can't see why anyone would like this Pokemon unless they were explicitly trying to be a contrarian.

I feel like no one ever considers the interface/bag to be an important part of the game's quality. Sometimes they can be in the middle(RSE) great (BW/BW2/XY) or just outright terrible (gen 4/FRLG). Which games do you think have the best interface and why?

I was replaying Platinum and all the useless bags (Mail and Battle Items) are inconvenient, is really annoying how you can't scroll a entire page using L or R, it's also kinda slow compared to Gen 6, which is fast and effective.
My favorite bag is the one from BW2, I think that's the "digital" interface, I like this in all the menus of BW and BW2.

When you play Local Battles in the game, one player has to use the Wii U GamePad while the other player can use a controller on the TV screen. Unfortunately, this comes with an issue in that the game's frame rate drops from a locked 60fps down to a locked 30fps to accomodate the increase in game rendering for two separate perspectives. There is a hidden mode, however, which will negate that loss. This is the LAN Battle mode
