Here's to hoping gen 7 doesn't drop the ball on the dragon pseudo legendary again
>150 special defense but no support moves or recovery moves
>great special movepool but not enough speed and special attack
>wasted 100 base attack
>pretty shitty abilities
>questionable design compared to its pre-evolutions
>evolution method that usually just wastes your time
I admire the attempt to make it unique for once but something went wrong here
>>25872166
Goodra is a pretty cool Gal OP
its abilities arent shit at all, they are all great. It has recovery in hydration + rest, the 100 base attack is usable if you want to go with a physical Goodra which ca surprise people (which also has a great movepool)
Choice band
Sap sipper
4 of
Outrage
Power Whip
iron Tail
Fire Punch
Earthquake
Or my personal favourite, focus punch
How come so many Pokemon are so small?
So they can fit in your pocket
>>25872100
Because they are. On the flip side, Crobat is almost six feet, and Hoopa Unbound is 21 feet.
how come humans in the pokemon world age so fast?
>Prof. Oak is 47
>has a 10 year old grandson

>no lewd
>humans only
>all boys allowed (bara, twink, etc)
>Ground

Gentlemen, how do we nerf the Ice type?
>>25871751
It's fine as it is. The only problem with a lot of Ice-types is that their stats work against them.
The good ones are glass cannons, and that's how it should be. Nerfing the type would just make all of them useless.
You don't. You buff it defensively. Only resisting itself is laughably awful. The only Ice types in OU or Ubers are Kyurem B&W and Weavile. Ice should resist Dragon and Ground.
Water needs a nerf. Its too safe.
This is all I have. Enjoy.
6/10 for the neat originality

Buy drastic on Google play store. Only app I've ever paid for and trust me, it's worth it.

how old are you? serious question
>tfw Pokemon will eventually come to an end
>>25871356
It's for the best.
>>25871356
I doubt it, actually. It keeps Nintendo/GF going at this point.
I'm 23, and I'm still buying, and enjoying Pokemon. Haven't changed since I was six.
Even better the anime is good now.
Building my first team for singles and I could use some help. I was trying to incorporate Arcanine and Tentacruel in this team since they are my favorites.
Arcanine (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam
- Morning Sun
I thought it would be interesting to go special for Arcanine since people expect the recoil heavy physical set.
Tentacruel (F) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Acid Spray
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
My special wall, spinner, and hazard layer all in one. Pairs well with Gliscor.
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Roost
Utility Physical wall. Covers tenta's weaknesses well.
Sableye-Mega (F) @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Calm Mind
- Dark Pulse
- Shadow Ball
My team's asshole. Kind of a mix wall/special attacker. Also bounces back opposing rocks if tenta fails to eliminate them. I had thought about Mega Absol here for the magic bounce but I really prefer this snarky bastard.
Not sure who else to add in. I need two more offensive mons I believe. Any suggestions?
Something with Sunny Day or Drought, otherwise Solar Beam is a wasted slot.
>>25871671
Forgot to add, I've gotten good use out of Damp Rock Rain Dance Klefki before, maybe use it for Sunny Day with a Heat Rock?
>>25871679
I was looking for a sun setter and considered either megazard y or ninetails. I hated the idea of doubling up on the rock/ground weakness though, even with a spinner.
I like that klefki idea, I'll try it out on showdown.
How would you restore her smile?
>>25871337
A good dicking
>>25871337
I'd get to work on that after she ate all of these.
By offering a sacrifice, of course.
Yesterday was the Cofagrigus line, today will be about the first of Gen 5's prehistoric fossil-mons, Tirtouga and Carracosta.
My thoughts: I used this line in my first White run as my ingame water type and they did pretty good. Designwise, they pull off the cool prehistoric look(I don't think any fossilmons have bad designs really), and conceptually they're based off what I believe is the largest sea turtle species to have existed. Don't know the name.
Overall, not much to say beyond them being good Pokemon. Fun fact though: Tirtouga's design dates all the way back to Gen 2, where it was one of those prototype designs. Makes you wonder when new Pokemon are revealed, which ones are completely new, and which have existed since the beginning of the series, waiting on the back burner until GF decides to use them?
Anyways, tell me /vp/, do these turtles rock your world?Kill me. Kill me now
>>25871324
Some cool turtles right there I guess.
Even though I like Archen/Archeops more, I think the fossil mons of gen 5 were one of the best in the series.
I used carracosta all through my first white version run. Pretty good.
I always thought it was bigger than its pokedex entry says it is.
