For you guys, how far can luck determine the result of a match? Can luck be considered part of the metagame? And if so, excluding using moves that doesn't have low precision and shit, how can one prepare for it?

Literally the only unlucky things you had wear the crits in ger shift and girafig being frozen. Unless you only pack berries against sleep and freezing, there's not much you can do.

is it possible to play stall in-game? what about balanced or bulky slow offense?
the closest i've ever gotten is using meganium in HG, but she was dual screen support for my sweepers, not stall

not for wild encounters. for gyms and e4 and shit. the music and production values ramp up and make the fight seem that much more important but the same strategy always works: see opponents type, pick SE move.
single player has always been hyper offense oriented because the ai isn't smart enough for other strategies to be useful

Why don't they just ban all legendaries from VGC? Every single year, legendaries usually take up at least 3 slots on the top players' teams. While banning them won't stop the likes of Mega-Salamence or Mega-Kangaskhan, it will at least offer a bit more variety.
Also, you can't IV breed for legendaries so I'd imagine that the majority of legendaries being used in tournaments are injected. This just gives injectors a significant advantage over people who play the game as intended. With regular breeding, the process has been streamlined enough so that getting a pentaperfect/hexaperfect Pokemon isn't too lengthy a process. The same can't be said with legendary Pokemon.

It seems the anime purposely made her skin a lot lighter than it is in the games and the Sugimori art. I don't get it, they didn't want Shauna to be brown in the anime?
