I don't know much about the anime ones. In the games, I think they're supposed to be on par with the Elite Four or at the very least, the 8th gym leader.

Magnemite's one of the most creative, unique, and memorable Gen 1 Pokemon there are. Grimer is fine. Tangela really is kind of forgettable, on account of I constantly see people literally forget it exists.

I have a ton of rare event Pokemon from back in the day, along with a bunch of old mons I got from trades with friends. A lot of sentimental value.

Part of me want to transfer them over, but I don't play the newer games much.

It's a shame that Spike-Eared Pichu and Orange Pichu's data aren't in any other games.

I also have the Draco-Meteor Jirachi, All of the Battle Revolution prizes, and all the HGSS event mons.
