First pessimistic vote here. Sun and Moon aren't doing anything wrong, I just can't get excited for playing Pokemon a 7th time when it's fallen into such a strict routine.

Cutiefly seems unlikely but I can't pinpoint why I feel that way.

These new reveals lately dont look as exciting anymore. Theyre mostly revealing more cute mons than the cool-looking ones. Past gens leaked guys like Darmanitan, Drapion, Sharpedo, etc during the early leak days of their respective gens.

I'd be a-ok with all these simplistic cutesy designs getting revealed early, as long as we end up with the usual and equal amount of badass mons like the ones you described. I'd rather have those kind kept secret than these Fairy type ones.
That said, if it turns out all the designs follow this uguu~ theme then I'm right the fuck out.
