I don't know what the first fic I read was, but I read an awful lot of lemons at first and that stilted my writing pretty terribly. But the old "middle school fanfiction" trope isn't just made up so, you know, you live and learn.

So, we already know of 58 Alola Pokemon (including unnamed pikipeck evolutions and final starter evolutions), which is 13 less than the amount we got in Kalos (71).
Do you think any of the Pokemon we've already seen have evolutions/Pre-evolutions? And will we see any more new mons?

Gamefreak did a real good job with this one. They perfectly and uniquely portrayed a mangosteen Pokemon. Bounsweet is nothing but a mangosteen with a face and stubby legs, and it grows up to be a real Queen of Fruits. I really like that.

I was honestly surprised that was the direction they took. I mean a lot of people guessed it thematically (though i never saw exactly what tsareena is with the emphasis on legs for some reason) but I thought it was mostly an English thing that doesn't work in Japanese, but i guess it either does or they were aware of the nickname. So that's neat.
