I was honestly surprised that was the direction they took. As someone who's a Grass-fag for non-waifu reasons, it's pretty entertaining that this is what the type has become.

I love how Tsareena's name is a combo of tsarina (female ruler) and mangosteen. Pretty clever.

It has a wide selection of waifumon, but all of those combined don't make up the cult of Garde/Braixen/Loppunny. I think the main reason they're praised as waifus is due to their human characteristics rather than being grass type.

As a non-waifu grass type lover I adore Roserade, Maractus, Lilligant and Tsareena and the rest of their respective lines, because they're all adorable to me. I wish I could grow a grass type Pokemon.
