Confirmed that instead of figjting kukui every time you go to the elite four you fight new trainers challenging you for the title each time.

As to whether or not this is the full list is unknown. I imagine other important characters like other kuhunas and guzma might challenge you as well. It might be that some trainers are exclusive to being fought at the battle tree and others exclusive to being fought as title challengers.

why should it be hard to catch
children who are most likely to actually use it don't want to chuck balls at it for an hour and teenagers and adults who play on-line or in VGC won't use it at all, so why make it a hassle when it's just for dex completion?
In the rough drafts, the original Silvally was meant to be able to select TWO types for itself using the Memory, which was originally one item. You'd preset the Memory to what types you want to give it and then it'd get that Dual Typing while holding it. It was decided that that would end up being a bit too overpowered and they just made it similar to the plates. Do you think Silvally would have been broken if it's ability had been what they originally intended?

I'd like to see a source on that, but either way, I don't think it would have been broken but it definitely would have been better than it is currently, and probably would see a lot more use. I'm curious about how its signature move would function under those circumstances? Would it be like Flying Press and deal both damage types, or would it just take the main type? Maybe you could program it to be whatever type you wanted as well?
