Biggest disappointment this year, pacing is some of the worst I've ever experienced in a game, and the horribleness of the gacha mechanics finally hit me like an old fish to the face. First game had a better script, too.

How do you feel about the powercreep that's gone on over the past few gens?
I've been watching old Battle Revolution videos lately, and it makes me realize how much I miss competitive in Gen 4. For the most part, everything was balanced well enough, and no team preview meant you could pull off some hilariously gimmicky sets sometimes with underrated Pokemon.

They designed a lot of mons with lessening power creep in mind but forgot to give the memo to the guy designing Z moves and UBs.

Powercreep has been a real factor in the past few metas. Gen 6 was insane with the addition of Mega's and mons like Greninja and Talonflame. I think Gen 7 will be a solid attempt at balancing out the metagame, so that should help slow things down in a literal sense. Also, Zinnia-chan never gets old, thank you OP

So many people have a problem with Toucannon, I do, I like it's design but it should've been it's own Pokemon or evolution line and Pikipek should've kept with the woodpecker theme.
Yes, we get it, Woodpeckers and Toucans are both Piciformes, but kids aren't zoologists, they're not going to understand that, they're just going to see a Woodpecker turning into a Toucan and not get it.
I edited Toucannon's dex model to keep some of Pikipeks features and colors, just so it looks more like an evolution of it, Gamefreak should've kept with the details and extended on them, I kept a hair quiff on it, changed it's blue feet back to Pikipeks grey and made it's beak the opposite of what a Toucan's is, from fragile to hard as Steel.
I think more people would be more accepting of it if they actually made it look more like an evolution.
I know I'm gonna get 'fag', 'kys' and a bunch of shitposting from the depressed 12 year olds on here, but I don't care, there are some people on this board who are capable of proper discussion.

It has a niche in doubles, especially in VGC this year. Since it seems like you can't get a legal regular Raichu, Togedemaru is an excellent Lightningrod abuser with Nuzzle and Super Fang, and more or less shuts down A-Raichu/TapuK
