If you're willing to reroll properly, you want to get a 5* base chainer, the most key piece for a power team. The current list is:
Orlandeau, Fryevia, Reberta, Aileen, Tidus, and Fohlen (note that Fohlen is generally considered a cut below due to requiring a turn of setup time, but the gulf between non-chainers and chainers is vast)

This is the new account that I got from rerolling less than a month ago's best team. This account has 6 5* base units, which is how rare 2b will be during Nier. Only two of those were guaranteed: one from the reroll ingredients process, then one from an event going on right now. This account is already a couple weight classes above the account I spent 100$ on and then discarded.
I have the best of every kind of unit in the game (arguably, there's one unit that has side grades to it and one unit that doesn't slam with the best), and these guys will continue to be dominant for at least another 6 months to a year. Contrast this with the account where I threw money at it and got nothing. You need to listen to anons here and learn the ropes or you *will* have a bad time.
My results were this good because I took a calculated opportunity at the perfect time, you will not do as well as I did, but you can guarantee yourself a 2b at minimum.

I'm doing the Dra al bhed event and am trying to beat the battle where you fight 3 aeons and then the serpent.
Anyways, do you guys know if the aeons are succeptible to these type of gravity attacks?
I don't want to waste materials making this ability for it to do nothing.

Also, do you know if stop would work against them?
I'm trying to do the fight with50~level charactes but I've yet to even get past bahamut.

It's not likely you can literally demolish a soul with a sword. All Cloud did was force Sephiroth into actual death, preventing him from trying to linger as a ghost like the Cetra in the forgotten capital.
However Sephiroth was furious enough to retain his ego even when truly dead, though it cost him his sanity and coherence, and he can't interact with the real world anymore without a sufficient quantity of jenova cells.

In terms of willpower, Cloud is flimsy as all hell. He's a scrawny nerd inside and out. He is tenacious, but this is different from being strong. He is constantly beaten down mentally, he just is bold enough to keep trying.

Talk until you get repeat dialogues, I generally don't check back unless it's after a story event takes place within the area. That depends heavily on the game too, like in DQ it's really easy to check back because you have a spell to teleport to each town, but in a game like FF8 you're barred from towns by the story constantly.

You can replace ATK break dance with Steal Power you know. She also has Mug Bloodlust. She can do a lot of things aside from dancing, too. So maybe have a dedicated support with 2 breakdowns and have Rikku do Multibreak -> other Ability -> other Ability -> Multibreak or something. She's quite fast and you could for example use Powerchain/Quick Hit if none of the Thief/Machinist/Sharpshooter stuff is preferrable.
