There's still that one time here on Phantom Train Apoc where we got brought along for the raid leader's wild ride featuring two mythril revives. FINAL FANTASY!

On our last episode: Yams, Cuck, Hercul and No traversed the Flying Fortress and defeated Tiamat and Warmech. After handing off Adamantite to the dwarves, Yams received Excalibur. They then learned about time loops, and a whole bunch of shit I can't explain eventually led to going back in time in the Chaos Shrine, grabbing the legendary Masamune, defeating the Four Fiends again and facing off against Chaos, who was actually Garland all along. After defeating Chaos, balance was restored to the world and everyone was at peace.

Except technically they HAVEN'T fought Chaos yet because I reloaded a save from right before fighting him and teleported out. So NOW our heroes are going to tackle the Soul of Chaos dungeons, starting with the Earthgift Shrine! I didn't realize we had moved

Tbh the best secondary healer now is catslut because she has innate double cast and the best healer staff in the game. If you give her two with a DW she becomes a beast of unimaginable proportions. With TMR materias she can easily go above 500 SPR.

It has nothing to do with how long it took, there simply wasn't any useful time between the end of the fight with that faggot and when their attention was diverted by Dr. Cid.
Gabranth would have fought her no matter what she did, unless she decided to join him in trying to beat the shit out of Basch (which she wouldn't have done due to her character unless perhaps he outright tried to get between her and revenge, but even then at that point in the game her drive for revenge had faded enough that she probably wouldn't have) and even then he might still attack her so that he could do all the beating himself. Basch is by far his primary motivator at that point, Ashe was a very far-off secondary thought.

The story with Spherimorph is that anything that it's not directly weak to usually triggers a counter. It was actually a lot worse back before powercreep came and invalidated the difficulty, but the one in the Realm Dungeons triggers a special counter that triggers on anything, including Retaliate hits.

Put the room back up for you, it's 3/4 now and there's an actual healer or two so we should be fine.

Bard is only decent in areas where there are a shit ton of undead, and everywhere else its a shit class. FFV is easy enough as it is though, so if you want to keep at it, keep at it. Personally I always use Lenna as my White Mage/Time Mage, Faris as my Black Mage, Bartz as my Mystic Knight/Ranger (for Rapid Fire), and Galuf as my Blue Mage/Summoner.

The bosses for the Earthgift Shrine are generally balanced around you being close to the same level you beat Lich.
Ahriman and Echidna are the trickiest as they use Quake and bad RNG early in the game may kill a run.

Don't worry though, when you get to Shinryu and Omega you're gonna have your shit kicked in before they finally decide to play nice and hold back long enough for your buffs to go through.

Faris as a Ninja has been stupidly strong so far. The Scrolls and shurikens just destroy everything.
I did have Lenna as a White Mage subbed time magic and I should probably go back to that, come to think of it.
I had Bartz as a Mystic Knight with Two-handed but I switched to Samurai to give it a shot for a while, but i'll likely go back.
I didn't touch blue magic since getting enemies to attack him was a huge pain.

Lifespring Grotto is 30, 2 runs min as well.
Whisperwind cove is 40, but a single run is enough, unless you wanna get a lot of rare items and shit and you got the autism to run it multiple times.
