Every single bad end, good end, true end, alternate ending, game, VN, LN, anime, spin off, and GO interlude are canon. Nasu has said this many times.
Chalde can pull ANY timeline's servant to be summoned. This is why we have EMIYA and EMIYA alter, alter basically being from a mind of steel timeline on steroids.
This concept kind of sort of appears with Gil in the moon cell as well. The Gil that shows up in Extra is not of that universe, he just decides it might be fun to check it out.

The Throne of Heroes exist beyond and outside all timelines. That's not how it fucking works. Heroic Spirits absolutely retain "memories," of every single summoning they get. The copy of the "pure," heroic spirit that went to the mortal world brings the knowledge back and it gets added to the "record," of the original. They just get summoned so many times across infinite time, space and dimensions that they can't possibly remember any GIVEN summoning. Except when they do.

Well, the times EMIYA was summoned it was by The World. Human summoners aren't supposed to be able to get him because no relic of him would exist for most of the world's history.

Anyway, you're splitting hairs. The original gets the memories. It doesn't get them as directly transferred memories as if they experianced the events themselves, but the original gets the information. Therefore its wrong to say that Servants don't have memories of previous summons in the "Main universe." Saying that they don't "remember," what happened when they have the information of what happened is splitting hairs.

EMIYA is summoned as the main body because he is a counter guardian. It's specifically important for a counter guardian to retain all their memories because they get summoned to deal with the same shit in different timelines (IE: Black grail monster Sakura).

Arturia is a special case because she wasn't even fucking dead yet in the time of Fate/Zero and Stay Night which is why she remembered being summoned by Kiritsugu and everything that happened in the 4th war.

The Throne is outside time and space and dimension, so the Original Heroic Spirit of the throne will get the information of every summoning in every time.

The only question is if they will recall the information. Infinite instances of being called forth across infinite worlds will inevitably lead to blurring, especially when the main body is experiencing that information with "academic distance," so to speak, studying it as if in a book rather than living it.

Archer certainly did not have a play by play of how the 5th War was "supposed," to go despite both living it and being summoned to it across many different universes. He certainly didn't act like he recognized the Gae Bolg when Lancer was about to kill him with it at the school for one thing. But he did recall Saber, and Rin, and himself, and a a few tidbits here and there that shaped his strategy and drove his actions, and the way he talks later on it seems pretty clear to me that as the war progressed he remembered a lot more specific details as events came into focus and he put some thought to it.

The emiya in Extra, CCC and Extella is not actually EMIYA. It's just a representation of a "Nameless Hero" which is the combination of all the nameless people considered heroes. He's an amalgamation servant in those games, like loli Jack is. It may look like EMIYA, but it isn't.

The rules of Servants/mainbody applies to the other 2 though. Arturia died at the end of Stay Night, so she became a real Heroic Spirit and thus her main body is in the throne or possibly at Avalon and it gets summoned from there. And as egotistical as Gilgamesh is, that's not his main body. He's fucking dead and he isn't a special case anymore because he died (again) in Stay Night.

The explaination was that the Extra Emiya "shares his existence," with FSN Emiya. I'm pretty sure they were the same being. It just that Emiya in those games remembered the life of the Shirou from the Extra universe rather than the Shirou from the Fate universe. Both Shirous made the deal to be Archer and they both became the same Archer. The Archer who gets summoned in FSN or Extra just emphasis different parts of the whole.

Hi guys, I'm a new player.

I rerolled as adviced until I got 2 awesome servants. (Waver and Altera) and now that we're getting the free 4 star, I'm undecided as to what to get.

I already have Stheno, and have caster and saber covered. The popular choice seems to be Herk, but everyone already has them in their support slot so I don't see why I should pick it when it'll become the meme option for supports.

I was leaning towards a Rider, Archer, or a Lancer servant cause the ones I have now are ok (Ushi/Shota Alex for Rider, Robin Hood for Archer, Prorotype Cu for Lancer) but the 4 Stars would be improvements on those servants, what do you guys think? can you give me ideas?

I just went from level 23-60 in a few hours anon. It gives buttloads of xp giving you a guaranteed level up every 2-3 times. so stacking up your AP's. also you may burn the xp gold cards into MP's so you can save for a rare limited CE that people tend to overlook make sure you save 3000MP minimum.
