1. Level up, do easy 1st ascensions that require just silver pieces
2. Complete story mode too
3. Go around the maps doing all the free quartz quests afterward while hopefully getting some mats too
4. Level up servants you like and collect xp cards and prisms, prisms will be needed for future events. Burn all your silver xp cards, they are garbage and only for burning for prisms.
5. Don't bother grinding ascension mats now, just wait for the future drop rate change.
6. Wish me luck in getting Hessian Lobo when he comes out

If you choose to write that kind of story it's not better or worse for it. You can like one more than the other that's totally fine. But the goal is not always the same, you can decide "I want to have this simple emotional journey following this character"

Depends how honest I'm being with my inner nature, it's a really hard question for me.

I'm the sort of personality who can get along with and appreciate almost every type of individual, and I have a really strong moral code. When I started this game, one of my sore points was being unable to congratulate people I friended as they got their characters stronger, and nothing made me happier than helping out the people who were in reroll hell.

But I value diligence and a conscientious nature over a lot of other important things, and if I lose respect for someone, I'd just as soon trash them like garbage. I can't help it, just the way I am.

Gil is my favorite character because he's awful in so many ways, but almost all of it falls to the wayside when he's pleased with people.

What? he does have payoff in his story, he comes out ahead of his teacher and finds his own courage and conviction. Waver has several points of clear payoff for what he goes through, the biggest being when he spends his command seals and tells Iskandar to go do whatever he wants. He doesn't feel the need to prove anything any more, he doesn't want the grail to prove he's a big man any more, he just wants to let Iskandar do what he wants. Hell he acknowledges his own weakness, Iskandar then gives him the one last challenge, which is the big emotional pay off Waver still kinda thought himself as lesser, not as an equal, and it leads to his final revelation and resolve.
