Yeah. I actually got really good with it but only when I stopped using it as a sniper. I instead used it more like a mid/long range DMR and found it dropped apartans really quickly.
The biggest issue with it still was how much pf a tell it was. Everybody knew where I was when I fired it so I wpuld stick with active cammo as my AA

It's clearly a weapon designed for campaign use by the enemy, and it works very well in that regard, but in multiplayer it was very situational. If you were in a big team match and too far away to effectively hit someone with a DMR and didn't have a sniper, then it was the next best thing you could have. Otherwise you're better off not worrying about it.
It got used a lot as a support role in matches.

Honestly anon, I'll be completely frank with you.
Videogames were a phase for you. That's all they were. The most you can reasonably expect to get out of them as the average adult is them being a modest little hobby on the side, which means you will get the occasional playtime, maybe a few hours every now and then nothing more.
You can not realistically expect to be a vidya enthusiast as a grown man if you're living on your own and working to pay rent, or living with a partner and trying to start a family. The only exception to this is if you literally play them for a living and that's an extreme rarity that you shouldn't bank on. Even for youtubers, that career path is pretty much all dried up now. If you disn't get in before the new revenue rules hit, it's almost impossible to now. Take Halo for instance. There are maybe 6 or 7 "prominant" halo youtubers now, and not a single one of them makes a living or anything close to it off of that. It's a side project they will all end up dropping in a few years.

The absolute best thing you can do being an adult as far as videogames is concerned is to distance yourself from them. That doesn't mean you have to just straigjt up stop playing them permanently, but you need to stop having them be a dominating fascet of your lifestyle. You shouldn't be thinking about them when you're at work or elsewhere. You shouldn't be eagerly anticipating a release, and you definitely shouldnt be trying to stay "up to date" on the newest games or gaming news. Nothing good will come of it. It's time to grow up.

Video games aren't even the most time consuming or expensive hobby (plastic models/car restoration/etc. are much more time and money consuming).

not confirmed. At all. We shouldn't even trust the confirmed things, this is 343 we're dealing with. They said halo 5 would have splitscreen, they said H2A MP would be exactly as we remembered it, they promised dedicated servers in MCC, the list goes on.

Thuis is completely doable if they better build the level design around the squad mechanic. Opening up the firefight areas in 5 was fine, but the squad mechanics are not well tuned for it. So either close up the levels a bit more and aim for length instead of width or give up on the squad seriousness.

Very VERY difficult to pull off in a regenerating health shooter. The bosses should be more phase-based instead of being single enemy bullet spongey that can just onw shot you. Honestly, this goes along with my belief that Halo campaigns would benefit from being more health-based. All the best shooter campaigns are.

So I believe prometheans have a diversity issue. They act too similar to each other in what hurts them (their own weapons). Combine them with the covenant and it will be fine. Just do it in moderation. Every elite squad with grunts also gets a knight. Every hunter pair also gets some crawlers. It's the 100 crawlers + 20 soldiers thing that sucks.

There is no reason the plot of 6 can't be fine. I've seen other clusterfuck stories have a much better sequel.

Honestly if sprint is returning, they might as well add this. The problem with current spartan abilities is that it's Halo+. It stands out too much as an unnecessary extra pillar of gameplay that feels added on to the golden triangle. Yeah, SA works better than AA did, but it still fewla unnecessary. Wither go all in or remove it. None of this inbetween shit.

To follow up on this, just so you know where I'm coming from: I'm not some 343 dicksucker. I have a lot of issues with guardians in both campaign and multiplayer and it's nowhere near my favorite Halo game, but I do see it as a great blueprint for a new generation of modern halo games. There is so much potential in what 5 TRIES to do, and if tapped and polished correctly, I believe the next game can really be something special.

The problem with the soldier is that the Knights already fulfill that niche. I feel they should be replaced by the Sharquoi since they could act as the Hunters of the Prometheans. The biggest problem with Promethean Soldiers is that they don't react visually to bullets, and they aren't an imposing threat
The Elites shields flare each time you fire a shot at them, and in CE/Reach the way the shields grow brighter until they pop is satisfying to pull off. Soldiers feel like you just pop like a thousand bullets in until their armor falls off.
Elites are also honor driven and pushed humanity to the brink, so taking one down feels great. Taking a Soldier down feels like nothing. It's the problem Marvel movies have, where nothing ever feels threatening.

There are certain areas that are exploitable via sprint, specifically in missions 2, 6, 7, and 9. You can get away with it in some of the other missions as well but it's much more difficult and you're better off just playing that game normally.
Always keep a precision weapon on you at all times if possible (magnum/DMR/needle rifle/sniper rifle). Your other weapon should be either a plasma weapon or a power weapon. The focus rifle is more usefup than it is in multiplayer, but still don't trade it for your precision weapon. Have it take your energy/power weapon spot instead. When you do get a power weapon, don't be overly conservative like in other Halo games as many covies carry power weapons on legendary in Reach. So just use up your power weapon when you get it then move to something else from someone you just killed. Also don't bother with the energy sword since it doesn't always kill elites in one hit on legendary.
Do not trade sprint for anything except bubble shield, and even then I reccomend just keeping sprint. I like the Reach campaign but I really don't think they implemented the armor abilities into it well at all. Sprint is really all you need.
Elites berserk in Reach, so when you take down their shield remember to quickly get a headshot on them or soon there will be a hoof in your face. Try to take down elites first since it causes grunts to scatter.
Remember that noble team is invincible. Try to put yoirself in positions where you are durther away and picking off enemies while noble team members draw their main attention.
Do NOT mindlessly just pepper elites with DMR/Pistol shots if they have full shields. That is what your power/plasma weapon is for. DMR/pistol should be used primarily for grunts/jackals/brutes/weakened elites. Spend your plasmas liberally since they have a good range and they're literally everywhere.

So I own MCC and haven't touched my Xbox one since that launched. 4&MCC killed my interest in the series for a bit because they were garbage wastes of money. Halo 2 remastered was nice but not enough to save it.
