I'll sum it up for you.
The games are good. Play them in release order. You can skip Halo Wars (an RTS spin off that has a self contained story), ODST (an expansion for Halo 3 turned standalone spinoff that takes place between Halo 2 and 3 and is really more for just the die hard fans), Spartan Assault/Strike (twin stick mobile games that have almpst npthing tp do with the main games), and Reach (although if you have to pick one extra to play through, pick this one. It's a prequel).
After that you can stop, bit if you're itching for more Halp gameplay, go ahead with 4 and 5, just know that the new story arc gets pants on head retarded.

I love halo and always will. When MCC game out the hype around Halo was immense for me. Not having any one with an Xbox One, I sought out new people to play customs with and to do legendary campaigns with.

The days of this general playing Halo with Koolaid, KS, win, and bb were some of the most fun I've had with halo.

It's hard to say.
We obviously have no numbers in the OP so that's definitely right there somewhat of a victory for the people who argued against it.

The company seemed strong, and with new releases of modes like Warzone Firefight and improved backwards compatibility for Halo: Reach, /hg/ seemed poised to spend the latter half of 2016 enjoying Halo for many partychat nights to come.
