i dislike soldiers, the rocket launcher as it is is pretty much perfect but not in a class based game, it blows shit away. the tf2 stock configuration should be the direct hit with 80 damage directs and no falloff, the area affect of stock is too big, and the direct hit is just plain unfair against engineers

they seem to be controlled by these variables, i didn't try changing them or anything but i can't imagine it being too hard to update. to get this far i downloaded gcfscape, opened the vpk with it, then copied over the root folder to desktop. next i open steam, right click tf2, properties, then added -tools to open tool window on startup, then finally open tf2, select particle editor and then the .pcf file within the new "root" folder. i will try editing this later today
