Is it even worth it to spend keys on their Level 30 selves before I have access to their Level 40 selves?

I would say almost every LD it's better to farm their level 40 selves because a Cerberus deck will completely dick on them and you'll get better drops in the long run with more bang for your buck. Off the top of my head Weevil, Rex, Yugi, Tea, and Odion are ez pz to farm and Joey and Mai are doable with a good Cerberus deck where you don't get a shitty draw.
Kaiba is really the only LD where it's easier and safer to farm his level 30 self. You need specialized Cerberus decks or a specialized deck to farm Keith, Ishizu, and Mako level 40 though. Yugi Moto is actually way easier to farm his level 40 but I just happened to have a good drop on his level 30

tldr; Don't bother spending keys on most level 30 LDs

allowing mako to have a normal deck flavor ontop of bigwave small wave.

can you imagine the synergy of bigwave small wave and order to charge? throw in some kuribos, twister and trap jammer/xing zhen hu

Rulers, duea, plants, frogs etc would all go way over your head because you would have to do more thinking than normalling an 1800 beater and setting one.

Material is the monsters you used to summon it, Fusion monsters require specific monsters as "Material", for example. Your opponent cannot quick play it during your turn. The same way they can't kuriboh you during their turn.

The point is that you can tell when it's coming on your turn because it has to be set. AND there are more ways to counter it, even during your opponents turn.

the power creep between attack values and monster effects is quite different. Also Manju was on the banlist, so I doubt it will ever get released in-game. Then again, Senju was also hit by the banlist but it was hit alongside Manju.

Hey guys, I want to stop spending Gate Keys on level 10 LD's. I see that LD's sometimes appear in my Duel World alongside the SD's, costing me 0 Gate Keys.

Does anyone know what triggers this to happen? I'm Stage 20 and have to beat Joey & Tea 3 times, but I'd be spending a lot of Gate Keys on their level 10 selves and would like to save these keys for Level 40 LD's. Thanks.
