you're more or less translocating back the moment you decloak anyway, if anything her abnoxious voice announcing it tilts your enemy even more.

not much will change in that regard even with the 15m limit, it'll just mean you're more able to decloak reasonably close-by.

Barriers are fine, the problem is there needs to be more characters that can effectively combat them. Right now it's literally Bastion in Sentry Mode who is the only reliable means of combating them, with Sombra being semi-reliable but only with her ult and Winston's Tesla Cannon being able to ignore barriers but doing garbage damage. If they did some changes like explosive weapons do increased damage to barriers so Junkrat, Pharah, and Soldier can effectively bust them more easily they'd be less of a problem and the former two characters become far more useful. If/When Doomfist gets in one of his abilities could be a mega-punch that does a ton of damage to barriers.

yeah nah this game can be for me when correct balance changes are made. i have LOADS of fun playing tracer or genji in dive comps and i really enjoy that sort of super fast and hectic gameplay in general. that's also why i prefer koth by far over other modes because it's more about mechanical skill and winning duels than concentrated team effort

genji only needs to aim past mid range and requires none at all at close range. His ult doesn't need aiming either. Don't for get the fact that he has an undodgeable and uninteruptable multi-player damaging ability on a 8 second cooldown that refreshes on every kill or assist he gets.

Tracer obviously requires aim, i'm not saying she doesn't. What i am saying is that her mechanics Blink and Rewind are bad pvp mechanics in an fps. Winston's is balanced out by the fact that he not meant to kill with it by the fact it does shit damage that is out healed by Mercy's beam alone. Sym's is pure bullshit, there is no defending it.

She was made to be a distractor/disruptor and her DM was an emergency damage blocker when things got hairy. If you died to her back then or couldn't deal with her that shows how shit you are.

If Geoff really wants her to be a DM whore in the back line, then return her armor, Have DM last for 6 seconds on an 8-second cooldown, remove Boost and replace it with a something more befitting a stationary character, and replace Self-destruct because she's not diving into enemy formations to break them up anymore so it's now pointless. Don't gut her and say she's now something else without MAKING her that something else.

And that comment about wanting to make a new character that does D. Va's job only proves that Geoff is an idiot and has some kind of personal grudge against her. Why do rank games punish you for a lose when the game was super close? Like on grab points, both teams having 99% on the last point, and like 5 minutes into overtime? It seems like both teams are doing amazing. One gets punished the other moves up.

In S1 it was super retarded the way they calculated SR gain/loss.

Close matches gave the most SR gain/loss while complete stomps had the least spread. That coupled with coin flip stupidity (hurr durr we can't have draws) meant that RNG decided who got the most points.

You now get SR loss for a lose regardless of match performance, but match performance decides how much you lose.
