What keeps you from getting burned out after every new game's announcement/release, /mhg/? Doesn't it feel like shit when you're deep into a MH game, a new one gets announced and completely invalidates your accomplishment? It's not like the game varies enough to warrant having to start over into Babbysville from the very beginning every damn time.

The only other type of gamers that puts up with this abuse as far as I know are MMOfags after every crippling update.

Poison in 3U did a lot more damage than people realize, many monsters were extremely weak to it, and there was a large selection of good weapons with crazy high poison values. Lucent's weapons also all had it.

The issue is that deviant sets, unlike regular G rank sets, aren't made for mixing, and the basic versions have no slots at all. So are they just going to go nuts on the existing skills on the G deviant sets, or are they going to let you mix it with 1-2 off set pieces and give it actual slots?

I wouldn't mind if G deviant sets came within about 5% less performance than a top tier god charm mixed set, but making the set itself should take a ton of work in that case

The fact that it allowed immediate exit out of siege is what made Adept valuable, the adept dodge itself was excessive on single hits and a detriment against multi-hits, and is going to be even more so against G-rank followups. Not only does Brave mode allow a normal, no pomp dodge, it gives the -option- of breaking into a sprint out of it regardless of if the monster has hit you or not, and you can slide right into siege from it. Guild being the most used style for Hammer, combining that with Taunt would work well in group. And hammer is doing fine for damage in gen, so getting it back to KO king is more appreciated IMO.

DB get a life leech art that heals and recovers stamina when you hit enemies. Only really good if you get off numerous hits, otherwise worthless.
GS gets a counter-charge that does more damage if you are near death and if you're hit during it. Most powerful attack if done with a sliver of health.
LS gets infinite sharpness as long as you are in the red buff for sg.
Bow gets a much more practical and useful moveset for arrow melee with decent damage.

The PSP 1000 nub is a very easy tweak to do. Obviously the grips won't come cheap, and yeah the IPS screen is effectively a lottery thing.

Honestly kind of prefer the regular N3DS' build quality, but then I wouldn't have good grips.
