I think powerlevels is a retarded idea in first place, specially in digimon. The process is locigal, but feels so fast compared to other shonen shows. Maybe because Applimon is supposed to be a shorted series? How many episodes is it supposed to have?

The standard length would be 50 episodes, which seems about right considering the timind for the super, ultimate and god grade introductions for each character. At worst it might get 48 episodes like savers, but still 4 cours.

Episode 4 has set some interesting rules and I wonder how they'll be playing with them:

1. Scorpmon's chip was sent to Haru's Applidrive before being stolen. Would that have included Cameramon and Assaultmon (whatever his name is), too?

2. If that did include Cameramon, that begs the question if Gatchmon could be stolen as well (Cameramon had a partner, we could see that)

To be fair I think this was handled better in the manga. Haru in the anime was too crybaby and pussy at the beginning, so the change seems a bit radical but in the manga he was not as emotionally weak, he was just a normal guy that had some doubts about all the shit he was seeing in front of him, but he was convinced very quickly when Gatchmon told him he wanted some help.

I don't think the schedule should be to blame, they already have a storyline they have to follow, and Digimon seasons always have had a fixed number of episodes (with the expection of Hunters) so they already know with anticipation what to do.
There are other problems, like budget, animation, VAs, but even if all of these things are shit, the story shouldn't be rushed, at least not in this case.

That isn't true though. The manga version of Adventure, 02 and Tamers are all vastly inferior to the original, frontier's manga does have better pacing and art so it should be considered, and savers didn't have a manga.
