I'm tempted to build toons with toon dark magician coming out tomorrow and I want to figure out my ratios for the deck.
I'm tempted to use 2 Drowning and 2 Quaking Mirror Force along with Lose 1 Turn. Also tempted to use Allure with the darks being run and maybe prohibition.

In the original manga (the one before duelist) yeah, it was about Atem beating people up in different games, but in yugioh duelist it's all about the card games, by the time the DDM chapter appeared, the duelist manga was 3 years old, which means that the card game was already a thing so it wouldn't make sense for Kaz to ditch it for a new game.

My conclusion is that while he still wanted to center it around duel monsters, he wanted to try and see if he could have two different games in the manga (DDM and DM)
