Dagger by far. Mail Breaker has the highest crit damage in the game.

The rapier's increase just gives you some reason to go with it instead of Estoc.

Pretty much what >>148986613 said. One of my favourite things to do in a Souls game is to play with fashion and themed characters for PvP and co-op. On DaS3 I just CE every new character into existence. I just don't have the motivation or patience to play through the entire game and grind the levels and gear I want.

The sad thing is I only do this in DaS3. DaS1 I happily played through the whole game every time I wanted to make a character. But something about DaS3 just hasn't clicked with me.

Feels pretty nice and fairly tanky.
Not only that I can block everything in the game with not HP/stamina loss. My defense rating is so damn high I can take up to twice as much hits or more on certain weapons compared to my 'meta' builds.

For me, it's that DaS3 is almost completely linear and there is little incentive to go against the grain (e.g. do cathedral after keep/catacombs), and most of the time it takes a long time to get the weapon you want. Whereas, in DaS, you can go nearly anywhere within an hour and acquire most weapons and gear, and you can play the game with many different routes.

The highest damage greataxe is the BKGS, which beats Yhorm's by almost 100 AR, but it's a quality weapon.
Similarly, the highest damage UGSes are the Profaned GS and BKGS -both quality weapons- which beats the highest damage pure strength UGS, the FUGS, cleanly.

There's no quality Greathammer, but also no usable Greathammer so there you go.
