The PvP and co-op is mediocre and NG+ cycles are pointless with no changes besides + rings. Most of the cool shit is locked behind half the game, magic is terrible, and none of the bosses are even particularly fun. They removed all the good aspects of DaS2 and added a bunch of shitty new mechanics that nobody likes.

You get one item, Bountiful Sunlight. which connects her to Gwynevere. Again, you're getting mixed up.

Bountiful Sunlight is a miracle that is explicitly given by Gwynevere to her maidens. The idea that Rosaria needs to be anyone other than Rosaria to connect her to Gwynevere is ridiculous when Rosaria can just be one of Gwynevere's handmaids or children. It doesn't have to go any deeper than that.

In Hero stats, there are two values, Global Speed and Player Speed. If you set Global Speed to 5 and Player Speed to 0.2, you'll be going at normal speed with enemies that are 5 times faster than normal. You can set that however you want, too. 2 Global and 0.5 Player is double speed enemies, 10 Global and .1 Player is 10 times speed enemies, etc.

I would actually drop the int and faith to 35 35 or 30 30 should still be dishing out great damage at sl 80. Then you can get 15 dex to hit the spellcasting speed cap and maybe use a better chaos infused weapon.

Okay, I don't know what's happened but I didn't get a soul from Freja. Can you guys tell me if I need to use cheatengine to fix my save or not.? I killed all four old ones and have been approached by the creepy black mass that erupts at the bonfire so I'm fairly certain I should be able to go through the doors that block you from getting to the king. The emerald herald also commented on this, and told me to go to the king. I still don't have Freja's soul though, and the doors won't open. Now there is just this weird stone mass where the glowing red orb was after she died.

Why do people say these chalices are the hardest thing? You could get the same challenge out of the other souls game if you gimp yourself out of armor and/or use the calamity ring to get 2 shot which is what it comes down to in the chalices.

That's of tempting but I want them to hit like a truck as much as possible. So does that mean the speed cap is 45 dex? I heard the sage ring gives 30 virtual dex.

And also did they nerf the damage on chaos orb? I feel like I'm doing like 20% less damage since they bumped up the mana cost for it.

Just bought Dark Souls I on steam, I wanted to avoid /v/ so I decided to come here.

I'm currently on this boss: Asylum Demon
And I thought I did okay, but after 6 minutes of getting him to 50% life he hit me for all my health. Is this going to be a constant thing throughout these games? I LOVE challenge, don't get me wrong, but this sort of feels artificial? I do 2-6 damage per swing with the starter gear. It's just a battle of patience, and I'm not allowed to fuck up, it just doesn't feel like fun.

Is this what made the game popular? Or maybe I choose the wrong class to begin with.
