Hello, I followed a bunch of instructions. I've finally gotten my system downgraded to 9.2.0 and am able to get into RxMode with the latest version.

I'm able to run some things that I put back on my SD card, such as my New Super Mario Bros 2, and even the demo for Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. I have an issue running my copy of Smash Bros I had there. When opening it, it just comes up to a black screen and nothing happens. Anyone have any idea why that would be? Should I see if I can get into the E-Shop and redownloading it (or retry taking it from my backup). Just not sure why it isn't working atm.

Second, is there an easier way now that I'm this far to get into RxMode or do I need to go to the browser each time to do so?

I've been following the steps, gotten to the red text many times in a lot of tries over 4 consecutive hours, but usually it doesn't work. I've gotten "Getting CIA file informations..." twice. The first time, it didn't do anything so after 10 minutes I restarted. The second time, "Getting CIA file informations..." flashed for less than a second, and I got a black screen on top, red on bottom. Waited 10 minutes, assumed it was frozen, and restarted.

I've been stuck trying to get sysUpdater to get past the initial bullet points for over an hour now, is there any way to increase my chances of this shit working?

So I downgraded my N3DS last night and installed Cakes on it. On that guide everyone links here, it says

If you want to use your O3DS login you need to get it off the O3DS. System Transfer is the main way, but that can't be done on 9.5.

Don't quote me on any of this as you'll need to google it to see if it's true, but if you format the O3DS with the internet connected, your NNID is wiped off that console. In theory you can then log in using it's details on your N3DS Emunand and still have all your games on your eShop account.
Again, you'll have to see if that's true as you'll just end up losing everything else.

5. Backup your micro-sd card content on your computer and put your nand backup somewhere safe.
6. Put back your micro-sd card in your console then press B

Alright so I followed http://pastebin.com/WVszD3Tm to the T, used TinyFormat to format (not sure if it did it to my emu or sysnand though) no problems. I updated from RX3D and now it says RX3D 10.3etc. I can launch FBI through the Safety app no problem so all seems to be working.

Only problem is all the games I have on my SD card and whatnot already aren't showing up. This normal? I'm guessing it's a result of unlinking nand.

Is it good enough to just copy and paste the files from my sd card onto my computer before creating an emunand, or should I use something like dd?

To those trying a million times on N3DS but freeze in sysUpdater, try changing settings and shit on your system. I tried it a ton of times with no luck last night, but went straight into red text screen multiple times as soon as I turned on wifi. mch2 is very unreliable, so anything that changes memory layout probably has a chance to affect its success rate in some way or another.

Not him, but I used TinyFormat and I'm pretty sure it formatted my emuNand instead of sysNand. All my old eshop games are still showing up in sysnand, but when I switch over to emuNand which I updated to RX3D10.3 none of those eshop games are available.

This isn't a problem though is it? I can just delete all the old eshop games from sysNand and reinstall them as CIA files in emuNand if I want to play them again, right? I don't care if I lost my save files.

I did back up my Emunand before doing this Rxtools stuff though like the guides say, so if it's a problem I could restore and try again?
