It has similar instant turn rate as other jets, however it has poor low speed sustained turn rate. Without the afterburner, you're very limited to a few seconds before having to relax or go below best performance speed.

Really is up to you whether you think it's worth having to regain 900 km/h when other jets can easily get by at 400-500 km/h. It's a generation gap.

On an unrelated note, I bought a talisman months and months ago for the Sea Meteor but never got gud with it, is there any point in trying now that every game is nothing but F86/CL-13/Mig-15 spam because of BR compression?

Sea Meteor is barely above stock, can't catch these things even after diving on them with a 2km altitude advantage, they just point their nose vertical and climb.

I wanted to make a mission that had historically accurate placement of german flak-batteries and "flak-traps" in year 1944 north-west germany

what you see firing at the bomber formation are:
Flak 36's
FlaK 38 vierlings
and FlaK 18's
vierlings had ridiculous high rate of fire, but whoever made the mod for this game forgot to adjust the firerate and burst lengths, so they'll just fire their entire magazines in one 6-second burst.

The game engine is at it's limits with with all these air and ground units within 30km of each other. The game kept crashing during this mission and also did at the end of the video the webm was converted from.

It's just not as effective as 76mm AP, you're not guaranteed to do anything other than rattle the crew inside. It's still a lot of kinetic energy and can cause serious spalling.

It comes down to armor thickness, attacking something like a Tiger with 76mm HE is just gonna make it angry, but the panzer III depending on model and direction of attack doesn't have much armor so even lower caliber HE can cause serious problems.

Supposedly they've fixed the biggest problems it had and now its playable. Read somewhere that the 109 and the La-5 were slightly overperforming, but dunno when that was.
Asked about this game not too long ago, some anon claimed that it has netcode issues (teleporting) so the MP can be a nightmare, depending on your ping. I belive there's only 2 servers which are alive, probably both of them russian.
