Ki-43 is good fun as a dive bomber, although the Ki-43-II has been "balanced" by Gaijew to have paper wings that amputate themselves if at any time of their choosing during pullouts from dives. The -III has more robust wings, though, making it a better divebomber.

Frankly though, taking bombs on those should only be done at the end of the game when you have one dickhead running away and you have go smack ground targets to win the match.

Best one is probably Ho 229, but that's a jet. You can pick whether you want to kill all tanks or play normally as a fighter, Works both ways. Duck is also good, but you won't be really fighting shit unless they head-on you. I guess you can dogfight most things (with enough speed, or just make them overpass), but you'll really hate spitfires in it

The jet BR system is so dumb right now I refuse to touch them. Almost all of them have integer value BRs so you'll always either be at the top or the bottom of your bracket in every match. The F2H is not particularly well suited for fighting the Mig-15sbis and CL-13.

The heating problems on zeroes are pretty minor compared to P-51s and Bearcats, and since US aircraft depend heavily on their speed, it's kind of a big deal.

I haven't flown any of my stangs since 1.53 so I really shouldn't talk about their current state. Could be something changed.

I also haven't flown the lower ranked mustangs so I wouldn't know if they had a heating problem. I flew the D models and those had merlin engines IIRC.

The Allison engines used to overheat really quickly and would overheat below 90% or so, but they behave better below 95% now. They're good fun at the BR bracket they're in, although they're nothing like as fast as the Merlin-engined later models, they're still fast enough to do well.

The speed will allow you to flank shit, mind you, you're still pretty vulnerable, but side shots won't be as much of a problem. If you don't flank in it, you might find it bad, though. Learn to play this thing and when you get M46 (don't have T25 and M26 is a piece of shit imo that's only standing in your way), you'll love the thing. I'm playing M46 the same way as I played that Shermans and for me it's one of the best tier 5 tanks in the game now.
