What do you want the next TW game, after Warhammer flops, to be?
I think they could really do an Empire II: East Asia, focusing on the 18th-early 20th centuries. You'd get the Opium war, Taiping rebellion, Boxer Rebellion, Boshin war, Japan-Sino war, Russo-Japan war, Boxer Rebellion, Invasion of Manchuria, WW1, and the Warlord Era. I think if they could pull it off it would be pretty fun.

How do I not be shit at long term strategy? I can win the battles themselves, but I usually get booty blasted from poor planning on the campaign map. At Shogun 2, for instance, I can fend off larger forces and take territory like it's no one's business, but I eventually get rekt when my opponent shows up in an unprotected part of the map with an unrealistically massive army.

Hired a catapult and some merc legionary defectors and blitzed the Himyar capital. Their fleet tried to retake the port city and failed miserably. All that is left is their main army that is currently sitting in some transport ships near the arabian shoreline. There's a pen and ping tool to draw things (f1 and f2), and there's a system in place for a leader to be voted on and give commands.
