I'm going to buy one of these today /v/. I want to get a few good games so I'm set for awhile, but I'm struggling to think of more than 2 - I just don't know much about the 3DS library. So far I've decided on:

Animal Crossing
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

I'd like at least one more game. AC is something I'll only play once a day for a few minutes (which is fine) and pokemon is going to be carried by nostalgia, so it would be cool if I could get something totally new, and preferably an RPG. I was disappointed that there's no FF tactics/ogres style game but I imagine there's something else out there that I just haven't considered yet. Any recommendations?

ORAS is shit. Unless you are somehow really fucking interested in playing a worse version of Emerald with prettier graphics (not even a lot), just play Emerald on your phone or something. It's really not worth it in my opinion.

I'd recommend one of the Zelda games also. A Link Between Worlds is a lot of fun. Maybe OoT 3D, or Majora's Mask 3D, though the latter has some controversy around some of the changes it makes, but I still thought it was fun.
