do you think luck should have a role in videgames?
Yup. And some games should exist without luck. People like different things.

yes it makes things more exciting

How old were you when you grew out of the "GTA IV is bad" meme?
Awww, what a cute thread, OP. I like how you stated an opinion that you hold and then tacked on a question of "how old were you when you grew out of [thing]" to it. Really makes up for a lack of cohesive arguments and attempts at persuading others about why you feel the way you do about that thing, instead replacing it with the implication that those who don't hold your same opinion are either children or just haven't "grown up" and thus are most likely "manchildren" as I'm sure will be brought up. Yes, you truly have found an airtight and flawless way of showing the perfection of [thing]. I love [thing] now.

It is bad. Prove me wrong.
Protip:you can't
I've always been old enough to realize the game is a boring piece of shit.
Let's have a civil and sensible thread about why BotW was pretty cool but ultimately disappointing.
>>389891859
Disappointment? You mean because there are no more dungeons? It's a boon
Yeah I sure do miss block puzzles. Those were the best parts of Zelda games.
>>389891859
you're not doing a good job if you want that OP
ITT: Current state of video games.
Not only are you a stupid fucking phoneposter but you unironically browse gamefaqs.
The faggotry doesn't even stop there, you then BRING back said bs to /v/ as if to discuss the same old shit everyday.

>visiting GameSpotFAQs
>just want to live quietly in your new home
>wake up to eggs and bakey every morning
>maybe cheekily slap Luisa on the ass
>your degenerate step daughter is doing pot in her room
>knock on the door
>she screams and swears
>says she wishes you were dead
>hours later
>try and resolve situation
>open her bedroom door
>she has run to a degenerate gig to do more drugs and get felt up
This is the kind of shit he had to put up with everyday with Chloe.
David...had a hard life...
David is the real hero of the story desu
David is actually the hero of this game. Wish we could play a Life is Strange David edition where you just live happily after Chloe somehow dies. Imagine that.
>spend days fixing car
>working on small woodcraft hobbies
>loving wife
>no degenerate pot smoking daughter to ruin your mood
he's not a nice guy, but i feel like the game deliberately made him say and do assholish things just to pull a switch on you the last minute.
Take a moment to think, how many video games have you actually beat? Let's say browser games and games without a definitive end, like MMOs, don't count for the sake of having an arbitrary frame.
>>390145509
Multiple hundreds, at least.
Too many.
>>390145509
So she hasn't then?
I'm going to say around 200 or so.
What are the best maps for Portal 2?
This really pisses me off..
Peachy.
muh dick
Has Nintendo accidentally spoiled the ending?

Flight > Invisibility
How often do you think people collect video games for the attention. Especially women. I see a lot of Instagram accounts with girls holding up games they've probably never played with hundreds of games in the back ground with tags like #retrogamer #girlsgametoo #nerd
Most women don't play video games. Most of the ones who do are horrible at it
>>389263412
>Most women don't play video games.
Most men don't play video games either.
>>389263412
modern retro gaming is cancer
Try naming a video game character that can beat Sonic the Hedgehog. Protip:You fucking can't
What about when shadow beat him in his game. Also Powerman.
Play Smash.
Tails
Whenever Tails dies, he always comes back to life. He'd tire out Sonic eventually and win.
After thinking about this a lot, I realized that I only enjoy games that don't have clear objectives. But I am not talking about sandboxes like Skyrim or Mount and Blade -- though Mount and Blade is pretty fun. I am talking about games like Attorney Online, where you join /v/ servers to fuck around and solve murder mysteries, roleplay servers in many games like Garry's Mod and GTA San Andreas (no autism though), Space Station 13...
I am not proud of this. Does anyone feel the same? And if so, do you have any recommendations? I feel like games with set objectives get repetitive quickly.
>>389263395
Sounds like you just need some company, try making friends that aren't just vidya buddies.
>>389264239
Damn, anon, you may be right. I was thinking that the redeeming point of these games was how relaxed they were, but it might actually be the social interaction they bring.
Thing is, I do have a social life. I'm in college after all, it's inevitable. But /v/ folks are different in a way. They are more similar to me.
So, any vidya recommendation similar to these?
>>389264540
Anything with online that's not too competitive so that you have a chance to interact. Can't really think of any specific examples, though. Maybe terraria or something?
