It was full of neat ideas but terrible execution on almost everything, I'd say it's a bit worse than SS2 which suffered from similar issues.

I liked 2 more than the first Bioshock too, it dropped the thinking man's shooter aspect a few notches (which in my opinion never worked that well in Bioshock 1 to begin with) and focused more on making the action and plasmids way better and fun to use.

Not shit posting here, just finished Bioshock 2 for the first time playing last week and I really didn't like it very much.

Way too many plasmid/gun/upgrade possibilities for me and I felt like I was constantly pausing to move shit around and change what I had equipped instead of actually playing the game. Infinite
got the game play just right and has the superior story in the series to me.

Fuck off, Bioshock is shit and represents everything wrong with modern gamimg. Only someone as catatonic as a games journalist would mistake this regressive/caualized console shooter as some sort of masterpiece. Its a shallow pseudointellectual turd that make failed journalist, who are stuck writing for gaming sites, feel special because they can try to flex thier "knowledge" about literature due to the games vapid references to Ayn Rand. Bioshock is at best a 7/10 fps that only hangs on to relevance because of the ign "muh vidya games are art" crowd. Don't promote this game it only reveals how much of a ignorant turbo pleb you are.
