>>2332515
That's not sex, lol. It's a kiss, idiot.
>>2333187
what means sex?
Any games with a good incest route. I'm tired of everything ending up with them not being blood related or it being about sisters that were away from each other their entire childhoods so aren't really like sisters. I just want some good old fashioned normal yuri incest.
>>2333205
Tsui Yu-
>normal
Nevermind.
>>2333187
So they're going straight for impregnation.
>>2333205
Well it's an EVN but love ribbon is an incest yuri game.
>>2333205
Sonohana New Generation has a route with twin sisters
>>2333205
There's MayuMai in Lilycle
>>2333222
Yeah but that was part of what I meant by the second part of my post. It was cute don't get me wrong but it feels like every time incest is used it's like they try to dilute it to make it seem less wrong or something.
>>2332509
what a translation
>>2333230
Well yeah, people are nervous about writing something that's going to squick a lot of readers, especially commercially. I'd be afraid of getting sued.
Would cousins work for you? Still blood-related and raised as close family, but just far enough apart to be able to squeeze past the censors.
>>2333252
You can't get sued for writing an incest route in a VN. It's just something that doesn't happen, unless you live in a country with pants on head retarded laws.
>>2333187
>That's not sex, lol. It's a kiss, idiot.
I- I'm sorry.
Got the romance finally working, and got this nice little exchange.

Can we just call bad writing bad writing? It doesn't have to be some sort of pandering.
>>2333459
It's always funny to see someone on /u/ call lesbian content sjw pandering.
Does Summon Night 5 have any yuri? I remember the game being mentioned here when it released a few years ago

so it's a female protagonist and a bunch of female characters but nobody mentions yuri, what's going on here?

>>2333828
It's for weird people. Like those two boring Fault VNs.
>>2333832
Shit, are they? I bought one of them on steam but never got around to playing it. Serves me right for buying during a sale instead of doing any research.
>>2333834
I guess you could say it was your Fault.
>>2333828
It's about a group of social outcasts that move in together as part of a government program. I'm expecting something like K-On given how moe the game looks.
>>2333834
Can't you refund it?
>>2333834
They're alright, but if you bought them for yuri you'll be disappointed. The first volume is told mostly via flashbacks and isn't even primarily about the characters it advertised. Volume 2 is better, because it focuses on the female cast and a new girl is introduced.
>>2333838
If they bought it after the refunds were introduced they only had 2 weeks after purchase to refund it.
>>2333838
I thought you could only do that if the game was shipped in an unplayable state and tons of people bitch or you make the request within two weeks of purchase. I haven't opened steam in months so I know I'm outside the time limit.
I wish I could refund my whole library, I bought tons of shit like LA Noire and XCOM when it was on sale and I know I'm never going to play that stuff.
I wish I was more judicious with my spending when I had disposable income.
>>2333848
You can get a refund if you played less than two hours of it. Since you haven't played it at all, you should be good.
>>2333930
No, the requirement for Steam's no-question-asked refund is that the game must have been purchased less than 14 days ago and played for less than 2 hours.
>>2333806
>so it's a female protagonist and a bunch of female characters but nobody mentions yuri, what's going on here?
>The story is a combination of comedy and the usual internal conflicts and worries that most boys and girls in puberty go through.
based on the description near the bottom, it doesnt sound too good to me on the yuri front.

Nope. Flowers isunfortunatelynot nearly as fucked in the head as KnS.The art and music are still great though.
>>2334360
Akaiito and Aoishiro are pretty dark.
>>2334371
Not compared to Kara no Shoujo but yeah I did enjoy Aoishiro.
>>2334371
Play some real dark shit like Kara no Shoujo or Atlach-Nacha or Saya no Uta before thinking Akaiito/Aoishiro is "dark."
>>2334382
Only one of those is yuri (and ive heard people debate a thousand times). Just because Atlach-Nacha is grim dark dosen't disqualify Akaiito or Aoishiro. (Which is usually described as the Dark Souls of VN's because of all the gruesome deaths.)
>>2333316
It's nice how Roskva is into girls outside of just being able to date the PC.
>>2333316
How exactly does the romance work in this game? It's some kind of turn-based tactics game right?
>>2334436
Expeditions: Viking is an SRPG. So, yeah, the battles are turn-based tactics, but there's also a lot of talking to people and then talking to other people and then killing them 'cuz you're a viking.
In the case of romance... I'm not sure anyone has figured out the exact specifics of how they work yet. But it's not that hard to get one started, I think.Every character in your party has a set of personality traits and will like some things you may say or do and dislike others.
So it's likely you'll need to do stuff that appeals to Roskva's personality and then during camp events that involve her, you pick the nice and flirtatious dialogue options.
>>2334416
It's described as DS of yuri because you can fail a lot, not because it's particularly gruesome.
>>2334359

>>2334474
>Long Live The Queen
I'd recommend it.
Especially for theMaidending.
>>2334626
I got tired of the game before I even found out about that one, but I think they've added stuff since I played, might be time to go back.
>>2334644
Same for me. It definitely lives up to the "you'll die a lot" part of dark souls, but without the satisfying combat and interesting exploration to ease the pain.
>>2333491
I think the best friend character has a yuri ending?
I also think at least one ends with the PC telling the girl that she's straight in the last few lines.
It also just seems like a pretty underwhelming SRPG.
>>2333491
>Does Summon Night 5 have any yuri?
No.
>I remember the game being mentioned here when it released a few years ago
To tell people that it doesn't have any yuri.
do akaiito, aoishiro, shadows of pymalion, nurse love adiction and nights of azure run on linux?
>>2335195
Anything can run on Linux with enough dedication and blood sacrifices.
>>2334789

Any idea about Summon Night 6? I saw info about it online and didn't know how /u/ friendly it is.
>>2335554

Is Valkyrie Chronicles gay?
>>2336113
There's one girl who has the trait "likes girls" that means she gets buffs from being near female units. Other than that, no.
>>2335965
No yuri in it. Read a few threads back.
>>2336113
As a general rule if you have to ask whether a mainstream Japanese game is gay then the answer is no. There are no hidden gems in that genre, if a game is known to be gay it'll be in one of the OP's list and/or generate recurring discussions.
Is Final Fantasy gay?
>>2336156
FFXV is the gayest looking mainstream japanese game i've seem in a long time
However, it's not lesbian
>>2336157
>gayest
>all characters are straight
>>2336156
There was that one gay erotic massage minigame in one of the games. 10-2, I believe.
Which is the last one I played so I don't know shit.
>>2336156
Other than Vanille and Fang from FFXIII who were actually gay with each other, not really.
I'm playing Bayonetta at the moment and after seeing a few Bayo threads in the past, are there any yuri-moments between Bayo and Jeanne? Or are they common in Bayo 2?
>>2336157
My friend used the in-game camera and facebook to convince the world FFXV is a game about four gay dudes on a never-ending romantic vacation. He made a persuasive case.
>>2336178
You can also gay marry in FF14, for what it's worth.
>>2336181
There's the beginning, the flash black, the rooftop fight near the end, the climax, and the epilogue of the anime movie.
>>2336184
I thought it was already. The only female character I know is that one guy's precocious imouto.

>>2336340
Happy birthday glasses cutie.
Anyone ever played highway blossoms?
>>2336843
No, nobody has ever played it. You'll be the trailblazer.
>>2336843
No. Literally everyone has played it except you.
Someone asks this exact question almost every other thread. And the answer is still the same: it's average. It's just a kinetic novel with a very predictable plot.
>>2336340
>win Suoh bowl
I don't know. She'd have to actually murder Mayuri in Winter and get away with it, while Suoh back to playing the detective.
Though I do not hope for her to win Suoh bowl, I hope they do not make her a villain this time. I'm used to her being a good friend to Suoh. Not to mention it will cause Suoh distress.
So J-MENT and Fue (Katahane, Cross Qualia, etc, you should know them), realizing that most of their gamedev efforts are not exactly commercial successes and jumping from one publisher brand to another all of the time, made an Enty (japanese Patreon).
https://enty.jp/en/10mile_fj
I assume that supporting this will allow Owari no Qualia to get released faster as they'll have more time to spend on it. They're also planning a sequel to Vanitas no Hitsuji later, but that one's not /u/.
Tiers, roughly:
500 yen/month - backer updates, development logs, name in credits, exclusive Fue's roughs & pics.
1000 yen/month - same, with WIP game resources and a game code upon release if supporting for 5+ months
5000 yen/month - same, game code upon release, promised physical goodies and doujins from J-MENT and Fue down the line.
I know there are at most 3.5 people interested in their work, but just throwing this out there. At least it's a clear sign that they're working on Owari, which makes me really happy.
>>2336965
>They're also planning a sequel to Vanitas no Hitsuji later, but that one's not /u/.
Why would I give them my shekel deckel doos then?
>>2334369

Perfect. Thank you.
How far along is the Akai Ito translation anyway?
>>2337354
About 90%, with 88% being implemented in the patch.
>>2337354
"88%" (all routes except one) but the translator pulled the plug on it because he wants to get it licensed and released officially (good luck with that).
>>2337362
Nah the translation is still progressing (albeit slowly). It’s just that they won’t upload any of the new material while the search for a publisher is ongoing. I’ll presume once they get a definite no from every viable publisher, that they will patch in the rest of the translation once it is done.
>>2336158
Surprisingly, no. One of the key devs even noted that they may very well have been involved with each other.
>>2337369
It's a likely pickup for a publisher since it's such a well known title.
>>2337834
It's an old title that requires porting it to PC, and its original developer is writhing in mobage agony.
You and me have different understandings of "likely pickup for a publisher", it seems.
>>2337835
Sekai has certainly picked up nichier stuff, and both they and MG have shown willingness to handle games being ported over to RenPy, and yuri was the hip thing in 2016 right?
I mean I'd publish it but no one would give it to me.
I've been playing through Neverwinter Nights for the first time and just got to Hordes of the Underdark. Googling some stuff regarding character imports I see it apparently has some romance this time around which I wasn't expecting. All het options of course, anyone know if there's any kind of mod to make them gender neutral or the like?
>>2337892
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/25m9yjxfnf4x8/Neverwiner_Nights_-_yuri_version
From one of the previous threads. Haven't played it myself, don't know what it applies to, but it's probably described in the changelist.
There are also fanmade modules with /u/ stuff if you're into that.Half of them have grimdurr rape and het, though.
>>2337902
Thanks anon!
I don't really have any interest in spoiler-related ones but if there are any decent ones without it I'd love to know.
>>2337909
The briefest spoiler-free description I can give is that in HoU now you can romance flirt with a fuckton of female characters and romance Nathyrra and Aribeth. If you want to go for both of them, put some points into charisma and persuasion. There are also some changes to how final scenes work.
>>2337902
Adam Miller's trilogy is pretty decent (and inventive gameplaywise), you can romance female aasimar cleric as a female.
http://www.familyofadam.com/mod/nwn_downloads.aspx
I also remember enjoying Penultima series, but honestly don't remember how the romance is those. You can romance the thief character in it as a female.
http://stefangagne.com/penultima/modules.html
>>2337915
Hmmm, that's worrisome since I've only got a modest 12 Charisma and Leto doesn't seem to like these newfangled romance files that enable yuri goodness and only complains at me in errors trying to edit my save to pump dat Cha.
>>2337943
Use debug console commands.
>>2337194
>implying we should play the same games over years have been past
>>2338140
that's not even close to what they said. did you misquote?
>>2337194
They were joking.
>>2337194
He never said that. He at one instance, said that Kindred Spirits wasn't his cup of tea when people asked for his opinion. Then, on a separate instance, said that Highway Blossoms may or may not be the best Original English Visual Novel of the year.
Keywords being Original English Visual Novel. It wasn't even being compared with Kindred Spirits. Also he didn't even claim that Highway Blossoms would be the best of anything.
Also, full disclosure:I didn't even bother playing that Highway Blossom
>>2338148
>full disclosure
sure
>>2338159
I wasn't impressed enough with what I've seen of the game to buy it, but he never actually claimed that it was better than Kindred Spirits. He did hype up the game (as someone involved should) but criticize him on what was actually said.
>>2337943
Charisma isn't required, all it gets you are better reactions when you attempt to flirt with some women. The highest you'll ever need is 15 including temporary boosts so it's easy to reach, and having it too low won't hinder the romances anyway.
Persuasion is only useful if you try to romance both love interests at the same time, but here it's absolutely necessary. The final persuasion check is level-dependent, and with maxed out persuasion for my level and relatively high charisma I still fail it roughly half the time.
>Leto doesn't seem to like these newfangled romance files
Right, I just tried and while Leto doesn't complain when I change things the game get stuck trying to load a modified save. I have no idea where to even start to debug that.
>>2336196
There are a good number of gay background NPCs too if you pay attention.
>>2338230
Well for stats console is fine at least, just gotta hope I don't run into any other issues that want more sophisticated modifications! As for the romance stats, I just threw myself to 30 Cha to be honest because after going through SoU and passing basically every persuasion check through a combination of off-class Persuasion points, Cha/per-boosting items and potions I decided that micromanaging talky stats wasn't very interesting. Not enough to risk romance at least.
It might have helped if there was more variety in dialogue checks but when 90% are just persuasion like in SoU, and only a grand total of two skills are checked anyway, it starts feeling a little dumb.
Kindred spirits and Kiss for the petals new generation are still my fav. VN of all time.
LadyKiller in a Bind was the worst. Ugh. Don't wanna remember that shit.
>>2338309

Yes. It's a local meme at this point. Don't actually play it, though, it's bad. Although you could get a mate or two with you and come up with a drinking game while reading that mess.
>>2338536
There isn't much to choose from when it comes to english yuri visual novels. Are you talking about sexually specifically? Kei from Akai Ito is submissive, even to Tsuzura who is a little kid, but that game does not have sexual content.
>>2338518
It is being translated so, some day in the future.
>>2338546
Not necessarily, I just have an embarrassing taste for romantic submission (but not that disgusting NTR stuff). Akai Ito seems pretty bizarre upon Googling but I'll check it out, thanks.
>>2338556
In the same vein, Syouko in Aoishiro is submissive to Kaya during her route, but other characters are submissive to her in different routes. Just keep in mind that these visual novels are not explicitly lesbian, but are still yuri. Someone outside the fandom might call them "homo-romantic".
There is an element of romantic submission in all yuri visual novels, most of the characters in yuri visual novels have a back and forth, give and take sort of relationship dynamic.
The only english visual novel that I can think of that has a purely submissive (sexually) protagonist is the first sono hanabira ni kuchikuze o visual novel, and even then she does give back.
Would people actually want a completely helpless otome-style submissive doormat yuri protagonist being passed around between cruel onee-samas? I thought most players wanted to take a more active role.
>>2338590
Depends on the ~demograph~. Otakus would probably hate that and a handful of weebs. The other problem would be how do you make such a thing engaging to draw people in?
>>2338590
>completely helpless
>cruel
Not at all. The reason why games are made is to accommodate some form of agency. That doesn't mean your protagonist can't want to be spanked to tears by her onee-sama and then turned into a blushing puddle of afterglow in her romance routes. The contrast/role-reversal angle could make it even sweeter.
In theory, of course.
>>2338590
Yes, but then that's basically my fetish.
>>2338590
The main difference between (most) normal het/otome games and yuri games is that the protagonist of a yuri game normally has a face and a personality that bounces off of and interacts with the heroines. A typical male/otome protagonist is more of a bland character made for self inserting, and their face may not even appear in the game cg, with the focus on a single character.
Contrast that with yuri game cg. Both characters' faces/bodies are going to be the focus. It's the same with (most) yaoi games.
>>2338590
Eh, if I get to opt out of scenes I don't like, sure. Not a fan of games where I completely lack any say in what happens, including kinetic VNs.
>>2338598
There's some surprisingly popular otome games where the heroine gets relentlessly smacked around and possibly murdered by her pretty boys, that's why I was sort of wondering if people would actually want a yuri Diabolik Lovers or something.
>>2338610
Gosh, that's ridiculous. I wanted a submissive protagonist, not a masochist.
>>2338590
You mean something like yuri Diabolik Lovers?

>>2338621
Too late neechan, I saw everything
>>2338651

>>2338610

>>2338675
Hey now, helplessness and abuse is rgeat if you're not the one experiencing it.
>>2338675
I dunno, there's a subtle difference between "being emotionally and physically abused" and "getting your dick chopped in half".
>>2338635
>yuri Diabolik Lovers?
fug
>>2338651
What was it?
>>2338722
>Gosh, that's ridiculous. I'm submissive, not masochistic.
neechan likes to be bullied.
>>2338727
You guys are the worst
Do any of the "Tales of" games have any noticeable subtext? I'm wondering which title to treat myself to first.
>>2338806
Vesperia has a yuri couple, I think. Didn't play it but saw some pretty blatantly gay skits. "Everyone else knows you two are gay so figure it out already" tier.
Zestiria's anime adaption makes two characters a couple. I don't think they have anything in the game, though.
Tales of Berseria has a pretty easily goggleable pairing. There are some reasons to think Velvet (the main character) is gay but it's complicated and spoilery. At the very least she has nothing even subtext-y with her male companions.
Those are the only three I know about.
>>2338806
Besides the above mentioned example, Tales is far more well known for its yaoi, so I really wouldn't bother.
>>2338790
Isn't this exactly what you want?
>>2338806
If you plan on playing any of the games, Vesperia is the go-to.
Any games that aren't VN have any yuri in it?
Aside from Nights of Azure, Neptunia, and maybe Senran Kagura where most if not all casts are female (yes I know NoA has male characters but they're side characters anyway and the focus was on Arnice/Lilysse).
>>2339139
yes
>>2339139
Life is Strange
Stardew Valley (can romance and marry girl of your choosing)
Fallout: New Vegas (minor RPG stuff)
Bayonetta 1 & 2 (mostly 2, text but not the focus)
Last of Us (DLC, takes place after main game)
Horizon Zero Dawn (not much more than a textual mention of lesbians and some flirting)
Eternal Seina (haven't played yet)
Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt (haven't played yet)
>>2339139
Why do we even bother having recommendations lists in the OP.
>>2339160
>Horizon Zero Dawn
>PS only
Why don't they want my money?
>>2339139
Fallout 4 and the modern bioware games (Jade Empire and beyond) all have some sort of lesbian romance available. Quality various, but still. If you choose a Female PC in Prey you get an ex-girlfriend. I haven't beaten it yet, but the interaction between the two have been kinda cute. Plus some other side lesbian characters.
Check out the Hella Yuri steam curator sometime.
>>2339182
You're very cruel, recommending that hugely underwhelming franchise. I thought you were supposed to be a masochist, not a sadist.
Are there more simple but cute RPGs like dmc?
I just liked it with all the cute scenes and abundant lesbian demons.
>>2339215
Sakura Dungeon is basically more of the same thing.
>>2339195
Am not, I totally gave a warning about the third game there. The first one is sublime- though dated- sci-fi and the second one is a nice slick action shooter.
Liara was also the most irresistible blue skinned potential-lesbian in the galaxy.
>>2339279
awesome, I had that on my backlog list of things to buy
>http://lifeisstrange-blog.tumblr.com/post/160806279510/a-special-message-from-dontnod-entertainment
DONTNOD just announced they're making a new Life is Strange game.
>>2339302
I hope it's not about Max and Chloe. That story felt finished, and it would really go against its spirit to pick a canon ending.
>>2339302
Let's hope they don't go with a (gay) dude as the MC
>>2339302
Are they going to have any likeable characters this time?
>>2339317
Back when the last episode released, they said that if they made another LiS game it would be a different story with different characters.
>>2339287Aria > Liara
>>2339333
Naughty Dog said the same thing with TLOU, though.
If they do make new characters, I wonder if they'll still use a pair of girls. I feel like they'll lose part of their buyers if they don't.
>>2339320
At least a gay dude MC would mean that it would stay out of our hair
>>2339320
that would suck
>>2339139
>Neptunia
>yuri
You... you haven't heard, have you?
>>2339464
Spare her.
>>2339465
They need to know.
>>2339464
>a male MC in one of the games somehow makes the rest of them retroactively not yuri
That's a weird logic.
>>2339469
Three male MCs now, but to be fair they are in alternate universe games and therefore non-canon.
The fish IS canon, however.
>>2339469
It's purityfag logic. Know the signs and arm yourself with knowledge.
>>2339469
the thing is when they start doing that it implies they never intended the yuri routes and it was just teasing.
basically they're saying they're canon strait and all yuri shipping is just that and will never be anything more.
which is fine for some people.
>>2339332
All the girls in LiS are likable and cute.
>>2339476
Purityfag logic is what made the Noire game a rightful disaster instead of a trend the franchise would follow.
Then again, >CH, so the franchise DID follow.
>>2339479
That was a good joke.
>>2339339
Aria's just a cocky side character with insanely good voice acting via the chick from the Matrix. Liara's a bookworm-turned-lethal! Also, the DLC for ME2 really fleshed her out to an unfair degree and had some super sweet yuri moments littered throughout.
>>2339497
I dunno. "Turned lethal" is exactly why I kind of stopped liking Liara as much towards the end of the trilogy. I preferred her as a nerdy scientist rather than a ruthless avenger/part-time underground info broker.
>>2338590
Yes.
I want the full otome experience of being saved from rape by a cool delinquent tomboy.
>>2339500
Same desu
>>2339500
I prefer to think that my renegade lesbian Shep corrupted her.
>>2339523
>playing renegade
Edgy.
>>2339524
But hitting people in the face is fun.
>>2339528
Eh, at the end of the day you're just an asshole. At least in KOTOR and Jade Empire Bioware let you go full evil.
>>2339529
Yes, but you're an asshole who gets to hit people in the face.
>>2339524
I just liked the scars and telling people to shut up by shooting them. I modded my save to use the messy short hair from the NPCs that were stranded on the desert island planet thing with Jacob's dad and it went really well together. She looked like an alcoholic that stayed up for multiple days straight and then slipped and fell face-first on broken glass.
>>2339531
>the whole final act of ME3 is just Shepard getting severe hallucinations from going cold turkey
This would explain a lot.
>>2339500
I can see what you mean, but I thought the development was handled pretty well. She still has her wide-eyed scientist side, but it really tugged at me seeing the nihilism of the invasion and Shepard's death change her to such a degree.
On a tangent, but I can't get into Jennifer Hale's voice acting for Shepard. It's not a bad performance, but it's really raggedy (to be polite). I sorta wanted a softer or at least smoother spoken protagonist, if that makes any sense at all.
>>2339535
I found an old screenshot from seven years ago. Yeah, this is the face of someone who needs lots of medication. The glowing purple eyes don't help either. On a side note, I could never get a nose shape that I liked.
>>2339547
I thought her voice-acting was decent, especially for renegade. She actually sounded pissed when she was telling salarian diplomats to go to hell. But yeah, she definitely doesn't sound like, say, Ali Hillis.
>>2339556
>that image
Oh gosh I'm dying of laughter, she needs to get some sleep
Also good taste in classes, Infiltrator nee-san
http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/work/=/product_id/RE197125.html Says it's a yuri-only rpg (JP only of course)
>>2339560
I forget if it was in 2 or 3, but I remember that a tactical cloak with maxed attack power and the Widow rifle could kill an Atlas mech with one shot to the cockpit at the second-hardest difficulty. There's a scene in one part where you have to clear out a group of Cerberus soldiers and then an Atlas drops from the ceiling. I actually one-shotted it while it was falling, but because it was a scripted animation, it lands normally and my teammates freak out because an Atlas just dropped from nowhere. Then right after it assumes an attack position, it immediately sparks and explodes. Invisibility takes a back seat to holding a tank cannon in my hands. I think this might've been possible if the mech didn't have its shield up yet because of the falling animation, but I don't really remember. Still makes me laugh though.
>>2339578
But nyaa is dead! Where am I going to get one of those absurdly obscure dlsite games now?
>>2339547
>On a tangent, but I can't get into Jennifer Hale's voice acting for Shepard.
I feel like it was one of her worst performances. I think she was better in the first game, but after that she was trying too hard to be a gruff soldier girl. Maybe I'm wrong and she was consistent, though.
>>2339598
I don't know, DLsite?
>>2339609
>paying for porn
>>2339598
real talk there are mirrors of nyaa's databases that can now be contributed to.
>>2339600
Well, she was called a liar, then she did save the citadel, then got killed, then went to work for space KKK, then most of her friends hated her, then Earth got btfo, then most species are too busy hating each other to get along long enough to fight against the planet eaters. So I can imagine why she would sound a bit salty. But honestly I don't really remember what she sounded like in 1, my only memories were of the horribly bland dungeons and a bug where my weapons would never cool off for the rest of the level if they overheated (this was probably a bug caused by the pirated copy or something).
>>2339610
you mean
>paying for porn you can't even read/play correctly
>>2339614
And even before that, she was a hardened, veteran special ops soldier who (depending on your background choices) could've had a massively traumatic past. So it makes sense that she'd be rather rough and brusque.
That being said, I thought she did a good job with the role, and leagues better than Male Shep.
>>2339491
Hella good joke even
>>2339547
>male Shepard is a smooth, collected voice that can switch between sensitive, confident, and angered on a whim
>female Shepard sounds like a chain smoker about to enter a coughing fit about how tough she is 70% of the time
>>2339621
I meant to criticize how unnatural she sounded. To me, she sounded very clearly like somebody pretending to be that, rather than actually pulling it off.
>>2339621
You're right, I forgot that one of the background choices was being raised in the sewers and another was having your entire squad wiped out during an ill-fated mission. Shep might actually be a space meguca.
The only Male Shep lines I've heard are from those stupid "let's bang, ok" vidoes on youtube. If I assume he's totally bland then I doubt I'm far from the truth.
>>2339627
>thinking Mark Meer did a better job than Jennifer Hale
There is no picture of laughing dykes strong enough to illustrate how I feel.
>>2339632
they both did exactly what they were told. "be a boring soldier"
>>2339631
That backstory seems to be the one that makes for the most interesting overall story too given the Cerberus ties.
>>2339640
Ideally yeah, but nothing comes of it but a couple of throwaway lines.
>>2339547
>I sorta wanted a softer or at least smoother spoken protagonist, if that makes any sense at all.
Oh it makes perfect sense, neechan
Hmmm, is their any translated edgy Yuri titles? I saw the opening for Toyko Necro, and Atlach Nacha, and that looks like some dark shit, but their both untranslated. Any ones in english?
>>2339598https://sukebei.nyaa.si/
>>2339761
Fuck off, pantsu's the good one.
>that part in Negligee when Sophie calls you out on wanting her to dominate you
Gah, beyond hot
>>2339621
>she was a hardened, veteran special ops soldier
Except she wasn't. For gameplay purposes. Which made the whole thing stupid from the start. At least the rest of ME1 covered most of that up.
Shepard is no character (neither pre-determined, nor "personal choice rpg"). In none of the installments. It's a dialogue wheel placeholder.
They came close to having her be a character in the Shadowbroker DLC of ME2. But missed that, too.
>>2339757
The closest thing you get is shadows of pygmalion, but no one fucks in that game, it's too busy with it'sbecoming Godplot. I didn't rate it too highly, despite preordering.
>>2339883
Also didn't help that it was a mess plotwise with too many contributors and too little coordination.
>>2339903
It doesn't deliver yuri wise if that's what you're looking for, and the endings are fairly short anyways. I wouldn't recommend it if you weren't interested in what the story had to say already.
>>2339907Do the endings treat the cute broken doll girl nicely?
>>2339757
There's some seriously weird shit in the later parts of Nurse Love Addiction but you have to go through a lot of candyfluff to get there and I don't know that you could call it edgy overall.
>>2339922
>I don't know that you could call it edgy overall.
Definitely not. That game is 99% nonstop heartwarming.
>>2339917
I'll just tell you below. That doll is the girl that "committed suicide" at the beginning. That is Mina (the real one). The Mina that is the story's main PoV is a separate consciousness created by the two super powerful dolls to "correct" the world. When "Mina" ascends, Mina (the doll) takes her place in the real world, though all the characters with sprites remember "Mina". The whole crew goes to greet Mina, and Jessica playfully suggests to Mina that she needs to be careful around Riko because she bats for the other team.
Tomorrow mangagamer will announce two new titles at Anime Central. Since they announced a BL title at Anime Boston and no yuri titles at all, I have hopes about one of these being yuri.An anon can dream.
>>2339927
Neat, I guess. I have shit taste so it might be up my alley. I'll just go ahead and finish reading it after I'm done with Akai Ito.I stopped reading once everybody started to die, so maybe I'm not too far from the first ending anyway.
>>2339928
Don't expect yuri until AX or Otakon. Most likely tomorrow will just be 2 het nukige. One of the announcements is pretty much known at this point and it's Kyonyuu Fantasy Gaiden.
>>2339927
>Punished Mina
I hate it when a fiction pull this kind of plot twist.
Been playing through Atlach Nacha. Really good, but the few het scenes are off putting and gross.
Got a really cute scene. So basically Hatsune treating her underling (who had a crush on her) with a picnic lunch, including a really cheesy scene of her spinning a picnic blanket from spider webs. Somthing out of one of those Sam Rami Spiderman movies. Dorky and cute though.
>>2340182
is het avoidable?
>>2340216
Yes and no. You can skip a handful (by choosing to eat someone) after you ensnare one of two male character. No, because there's a handful of in story rapes that happen to some of Hatsune's victims. (They all end with Hatsune coming to the rescue, and messily slaughtering them)
>>2340068
Theystarted out as the same person, but were split into 2 connected people after the suicide. Doll Mina would cease to exist if POV Mina died.
Quantum Entanglement is dead, isn't it?
>>2340363
It hasn't even been half a year anon
>>2340367
It feels like it has.
>>2340363
You try emailing SaintBomber?
>Huniepop lady calls you a girl, then refers to you as "he"
If the gameplay wasn't somehow so fun I'd have stopped playing a while ago, wouldn't recommend for Yuri content
>>2340397
I don't recall any dialogue referring to you as a he but it's possible I forgot a line, I know there was like one or two lines in the game that seemed like they should've been changed but weren't, nothing explicit though
>>2340403
Is there any actual yuri content in it though? It just seems like the lines for a female character are the male stuff with "boys" replaced with "girls."
>>2340411
You never see the protagonist either way male or female, so if dialogue doesn't count then no there's no yuri content. The explicit images you receive are slightly different for a female protagonist, if that counts. Though again, you don't see the protagonist.
>>2339934
>I stopped reading once everybody started to die, so maybe I'm not too far from the first ending anyway.
Do you meanthe pandemic at the schoolor after? If it's that incident, then the story actually gets worse from there.
>>2340414
Gotcha, thanks!
>>2340420After. I think the last thing I read was the reveal that Gramma didn't actually die.
Fucking Degica. Backstabbers. Instead of giving us White Robe of Love Syndrome, like everyone wanted, they fucking localized their shitty rain game. Never going to be any of their shitty games again.
>>2340498
That's not really backstabbing. I'm upset about it too, but are you really saying you're not going to buy it if they release it in the future?
>>2340512
>nearly everyone asks for more yuri
>choose to localize the het
iono i kinda feel backstabbed as well
>>2340546
Was there a list of their most requested games?
>>2337265
Thanks for saving me the trouble of dealing with Chinese state-backed hackers famalam.
>>2340498
It's a much better-known game than the nurses were before english release, and I don't think releasing that proves that they will never translate yuri in the future...
Anyone tried the Equal Love mod for Dragon Age Origins?
Does it work with save import in Awakening, 2 or Witch Hunt?
>>2340645
Never tried that particular mod but I would expect the saves to import just fine. As far as I can tell when importing a save the game just look at the flags and don't bother to check if the flag combination is possible in-game. I've used mods that simply removed class/race/origin restrictions and never had any problem importing an impossible character. That being said, depending on how some conversations are structured there might still be cases where the game won't acknowledge the romance despite all the relevant flags being correctly set.
>>2340614
It's a betrayal. We all spent over forty bucks o Nurses, which did really well. Degica then translate a disgusting het title. I hope people pirate it.
>>2340750
oh the humanity. i can't believe degica single-handedly killed yuri.
>>2340750
So if a company makes a yuri game, then a het game, then a yuri game, they are disgusting traitors and you wouldn't support the second yuri game?
I mean by all means don't buy the het game if you don't want it! But if you want them to focus on the yuri then saying you'll never buy yuri from them again is counterproductive
>>2340818
If anon actually believed in what they said they never would have bought HakuAi in the first place. I think they're just being stupid because they're stunted and can't keep their emotions in check. Or they're just being a shitter. Either way, you shouldn't bother replying to them.
>>2340826
We're past limit though and it's a better topic to shitpost about than some.
If a translation company does announce a new yuri title this summer, what is out there still to be picked up?
>>2340835
I don't know. The girls love only list on VNDB is depressingly short, so maybe we've already got everything any publisher would be willing to localise. I hope we get ShiroKoi sometime soon, at least. Also, the person who keeps talking about that edgy shitfest Attlach-Nacha has kind of made me want to read it. Maybe I hope for that, too..
>>2340835
I'm hoping Lilycycle gets picked up.
>>2340856
>ALicesoft localizing anything that isn't Rance.
Fat chance anon.
>>2340943
Beat Blades Haruka
>>2340946
That' a typical h-game fest. From what people have told me about Atlach Nacha, its really weird for an Alicesoft game. Not as marketable.
>Sekai announced a new otoge/BL brand
>zero yuri
Sasuga
>>2340972
what's even left at this point though? besides tsui yuri, some old shit from the ps2 era, lyrical cycle or however you spell it
>>2341051
Wasn't Seven Days with the Ghost getting translated as well?
>>2341064
It looks like it's been picked up by Sekai Project. The game is free though, so it's kind of gay that you'll have to pay for the english version.
>>2341071
You should never give any money to sekaishits anyway.
>>2341087
Oh no worries. I already experienced the game. I reckon some purity fags will be mad when it finally comes out.
>>2341087
gosh yeah wouldn't want to give money to official translations, they might think people actually want yuri in english or something
Purity fags should stay with Seven Days with the Ghost and Atlach Nacha. It goes without saying for Nacha, but there's a scene, werethe prot makes a futari girl cum using her words without touching her dick.
>>2341133
I was actually thinking of the scene where Ayako tells Anna about (actual spoilers)her prior sexual experience.

>>2341408
Well, it doesn't count with a girl, obviously.
>>2341412
Obviously, they're just playing at the real thing. When Annahas sex with two different girls in front of Ayako, and when Ayako gets assaulted by the female ghost, it doesn't mean anything!
White Robe Love Syndrome's Mayuki sound's like a route that's I'd like to see

>>2341851

>>2341807
What happens in that part? I'm not getting the game anytime soon so I might as well spoiler myself.
>>2342141You find e-mails and audio recordings of various stages of their relationship (asking for date, fight/breakup, trying to apologize) and later (or earlier, depends how you play I guess) find corpse of one of them. >>2343691
Is the dark-skinned maid's route age-gap yuri, or is she just tall?
>>2343723
She's older but her route is not very yuri. There are hints that she's gay but nothing explicitly romantic happens between them, it's just kiss-on-the-cheek stuff. Enough to fuel fanfic, not enough to call it age gap yuri IMO.

New Nights of Azure 2 information. My moonrune translations are weak and tried to the best I can to translate.
- New Spider Fiend named Valderossa and screenshots of fighting a Giant Fiend (aka Boss Fight).
>>2344044
- New Battle System consists of Alushe, Partner Lily and 2 Servans (4 in total)
- Screenshot of Veruschka performing her Active Skill and Camilla's Double Chase with Alushe
- New Striker-type Servan "Dump" and Tricker-type "Peruru. Raising a Servans status now requires "Servan Points" which can be acquired by clearing quests (as shown to the right where Kaede's HP and Attack increaced from distributing points)
- Giant fuckoff sword is actually a Partisan attack from the bee Servan
- Lower right is Alushe in a swimsuit, limited to Premium Box and Special Collection Box editions of the game.- Arnice promoted to a lily, and seems she is back to nornal judging from the screenshot
Not sure if anyone cares, but saw in Winterwolves' forum, that apparently they're going to release extra yuri-only endings for the GxG romance options after the whole "poly endings with men" fiasco

And perhaps that got mixed in with the whole crowd.

That's true, but I still won't be satisfied until I see explicit mentioning of Lilysse since just ignoring her or killing her off would both be idiotic.
It's not ideal, but I wouldn't mind if she wasn't in the game as a character as long as Arnice still refers to her like "I really need to get home to Lilysse" or similar.

Divinity: Original Sin 2
Amazing what Google can do
>>2343777
I see, thanks.
>>2344451
I really need to finish the first one.
Just wondering. Is there any yuri in Omega Labyrinth? Pic is from the sequel.
>>2344124
>I don't remember seeing anywhere that having feelings for Alushe was a prerequisite for being a Lily.
And this kinda bums me out, initially I thought we would get max 3 Lilies and it would make their relation to Alushe more important and intimate.
If Arnice is now her Lily then what happened with Lilysse? Did they choose the end where Lilysse doesn't remember Arnice anymore and Arnice became the Night Queen to never meet Lilysse again?
How many Lilies we got now?
>>2344215
Every new piece of news from the devs has been driving my hopes down with all their coy shit. Lilysse and Arnice are still together somehow or they're never getting my money.
Why do they do this shit?
Oh well, maybe one day Sayori will turn around and pull a Peko.
>>2344388
I don't really know any other or can't think of any others at the moment, because it usually ends pretty quickly with them being turned nice by the end and never had a scene spoilered below.
Basically characters who are obviously bad because they want to bully and own you but believe they are doing good because they are protecting you, the scene wherelavinia wants to make sara a maid when lavinia gets out and says how ms minchin owns sara and hates her but lavinia would own her but be grateful for heris perfect.
Getting low down the pages now.
When it comes time for a new thread, any news worth calling out?
>>2344804
it just hit page 9. it'll be here for a week
>>2344807
>when
why is reading so difficult
>>2344517
Pretty sure Alushe, Liliana and Luenheid were always meant to be the main triangle which is good since it can mean more depth to the relationship hopefully.
But yeah, the game needs to release already so Japs can get their hands on it and we can hopefully stop stressing about it all.
>play Moekuri
>get #rekt around halfway throough and nothing I do seems to prevent it
It doesn't help that Fantasy Cocoa's monsters seem to be chosen at random and you can't really get any better ones from fighting in the campaign.
>>2344517
Lily could just be an in-game term for characters that can accompany you to fight, though it's obviously supposed to be suggestive.
had this arrive recently, looks pretty good.too bad i can't read japanese and don't have a system to play it on
>>2345325
>don't have a system to play it on
You've got a PC, don't you?
Arnice figure just got invoiced. Hopefully they'll put Lilysse up soon.
NoA2 release date updated to August 31
Western release sometime next year probably.
>>2345570
It kinda sorta works for the most part.
>>2345535
Any end of the month release date is likely a placeholder.
>>2344044
>Liliana got to hold hands with her waifu
>Ruhenheid gets ravished by a sexy, spider fiend
Seems fair.
>>2345606
But Liliana is bland as fuck. Even the Dark Souls girl seems more interesting than her.
>>2345609
>But Liliana is bland as fuck.
Seriously. Does she even have a pair of sexy black panties to entice Alusheor spidergirlswith?
What are the odds that Valderossa lives past her boss fight?
I mean, the first boss in Killer is Dead got undue attention in promo material because it was disguised as a pretty girl.
went from 9 to 10 surprisingly fast, new thread soonish, call out anything you want featured on top
>>2345336
yeah but i mean't playing the game using a PS2.
Honestly didn't check to see if someone had an iso of the game, wasn't sure how rare it was and never emulated a ps2 so didn't bother searching.
Also has anyone uploaded the extra CD content from the special edition?
>>2345806
uh, anon. if you have the disc you don't need an iso.
>>2345806
If you have a PS3, there's a chance it can be backwards compatible with PS2. Otherwise your only choice is emulation, which is far from perfect, sadly.
>>2345833
I have the PS2 game but no PS2 or PS3. can it be run on PC or something? Im confused
>>2345838
Yes, with a PS2 emulator. Just look up PCSX2, they've got a tutorial on their site on how to use it.
>>2345684
I don't know, but Mistral lived and had a friendly chat after so it's not impossible.
>>2345840
Is it the CDVD thing?
>>2345847
The what now? It's this. http://pcsx2.net/getting-started.html
>>2345847
alright, nvm think i found what i want.
