Sadly it can only happen if AA itself gets funded (and isn't a commercial failure), since I hope to use the funds I gain from that to fund my animal girl project myself. I don't want to be one of those devs who launches a new KS for all of their projects.

If anybody had started playing it already, how long is it approximately? VNDB has nothing yet.

Well, if you don't mind spending 20 bucks for a 16 year old game which is just a port from the Android version. Personally I decided to wait for the price to drop before getting it, I bought SV instead and I'm not regretting it, so far.

>it is a unique experience being on the front lines of a fresh yuri release
People say that about every single yuri release. It really isn't, unless you discuss it with somebody.
>>
>>2031214
Well you're already here discussing it with us.
>>
>>2031214
>People say that about every single yuri release.
I sure hope people end up saying that about mine.
>>
>>2031214
They didn't say it about mine.
>>
>>2031215
By "discussing the game" I meant "talking about its plot and characters", not "trying to estimate the length". Visual novels with the focus on romance, especially shorter ones, generally don't have a lot to discuss, so being "the first" doesn't mean much. Unless you tend to fuck yourself over by highlighting spoilers, then yes, getting it on its release date is probably for the better.

>>2031216
I'll personally say it if you deliver on that mindbreak.

It's happening. I've been conducting a lot of research.
>>2031222
I'm happy that it's finally out, I was getting worried over the delays. I'll wait for reviews to kick in before purchasing myself, though.
>>
>>2031225
>I've been conducting a lot of research
I'm not sure if I should ask you to elaborate.

Just in case, though, don't let your research near any tech, especially phones, and make sure she stays healthy. You won't be able to get a doctor without raising suspicion, and disposing of the body is very troublesome.
>>
>>2031220
Honestly I've had a lot of stuff I'd love to discuss in the game so far, but I don't want to flood the thread and I don't know how far any other anons are, so so far the safest topic of discussion is "how long is this".
>>

AA and "cute girls with animals ears" are two different projects, though. The latter is just a concept, from what I understand.

Oh, the mindbreak I was referring to there is in AA, not the animal girls project. The mindbreak in AA is avoidable, but only if you want to get the bad end.

Repeat of my question, how does /u/ feel about アトラク=ナクア?

People always say it's obscure.
>>
>>2031242
You're 99% there, in AA the mindbreak occurs during the good ending - if you don't mindbreak the heroine, you'll get her bad end. She needs the mindbreak to be able to accept the fact that she's gay, she's in deep denial up until that point.
>>
>>2031243
It's been vaguely discussed a few times in terms of how villainous the protagonist is and how properly gay she is, IIRC, but being old and untranslated only a few people have any opinion on it.

I mostly know it because I was checking out other Alice Soft games, and I expect many people can say the same.

Still, it's not really super-obscure. There's way deeper levels of obscurity to get into. Attached potentially relevant.
>>
>>2031250
Possessioner isn't obsure even on 4chan. People bring it up in pixel-art threads.

Fair reasoning

/u/ already discussed Princess's Maid when it came out on Yuri GameJam, but the dev is also working on Princess's Pet, an otome vn with a yuri route. A short demo's out, but it's something, and it's not some last minute yuri route either.
>>
>>2031303
>details
It's real short. You play a flirty schoolgirl who hits on the yuri route. That's it. The het routes are easy to avoid and it's easy enough to blow off the guys. I did scan the dev's tumblrs and she does like yuri well enough, meaning the yuri won't be tacked on in the full free game.

I cannot figure out how to get onto Melody's route. I get to the play rehearsal and then make the Melody choices after that but I keep getting a bad end.
>>
>>2031348
I haven't completed myself, but I think you have to not be an ass to Lyrica, but at the same time don't try to bang her. If Lyrica is acting friendly towards you, then she won't get pissed enough for the bad end.
>>
>>2031348
I just got there too, that bad end cut like a knife. I picked Melody options every time and shunned Lyria every time, I thought for sure that would be the best way to go about it. I'm thinking we need to be nice to Lyria at some point so she doesn't snap.. I didn't expect the branches to be this deep, now I'm wishing I made more saves.

There are a lot of good scenes hidden in all these branches, even if it leads to a bad end.

I went mostly for Lyria route, with choices like 'be rude' early on because I tend to pick what I think the MC would do in VNs but it seems that turned out for the better. It was really easy to switch to Melody and Scherza in my case.
When Lyria asked if I would go to Vega with her, that seems to be the final say in picking between Lyria and Melody. If you choose to stay, you can pick between Melody and Scherza when talking to Sid.

There seems to be a distinct problem of some texts being recycled on too many routes, this line actually makes sense in most of them, since Aria doesn't know Lyria is a princess in several possible routes to this scene.
>>

Ah, I see. I had a feeling that might be the problem, since there are several occasions on which certain lines don't really fit in with what was shown and told before.

I don't know if its related but there also seem to be bugs with the paths, if you go with the Melody route and then choose the options to leave her for Lyria, you get a bit of a altered scene when you arrive in vegas, but the game continues to treat you like on the Melody route afterwards.

I actually somehow managed to stumble over it on my first playthrough, though I did get the bad end at first.

Huh interesting, I'm not sure if I missed that. Though given the events of Scherza route it would seem kinda odd unless Lucinda really got around in the royal family.

I think you have to skip that part to get the Scherza route, so it's possible you did miss it. I got it my first and second route and I've been so confused since I did Scherza's.
>>
>>2031550
Is it on the choice where you can either help Melody searching or look for info on dreams? Because I picked the latter, thats where I might have missed it and I haven't explored all branches yet.

Only theory I could come up with would be Scherzas was in love with Lucinda and thought they had something, Lucinda fucked the King (possibly with Scherza not knowing) and when Reid "killed" her Scherza used the whole confusion to put her in stasis or whatever she did.

That's not really grammar. If the poster is going to complain about word choice they should at least attempt to properly use words themselves.

In my experience it's especially common in same-sex literature because there are too many 'she's around.

Burly Detective Syndrome isn't necessarily wrong done once in a while, but it's ridiculous if over-used, and the occasionally-useful feature it has in pure text (burning in descriptors so the reader remembers them) is redundant in VN.

Thanks for the wake up call, anon. I've just been abit down in the dumps since /evn/ falsely accused my artist of tracing and turned it into a meme and won't stop shitposting about it so I can't post progress there anymore.

>>
>>2031639
I'm glad you understand. Updates and news related to your VN are still welcome though. Keep up the good work and don't let false accusations get to you, also remember that seeking emotional support from an anonymous board is not a good idea.

Isn't that your answer right there? It's a question of style.
>>
>>2031639
I think they were making fun of the person who accused your artist of tracing and then just got carried away and made it something like the churros meme, rather making fun of you or your artist, though I can understand why you found it irritating.
If you feel like it, keep posting your updates, otherwise some of us will just look at the pretty pictures over here. :) Ignoring the accuser is probably a better approach, some times giving them any attention past a rebuttal makes some people think you've got a guilty conscience even if it's not the case.

You still have to start the game a and play through the tutorial (which is the story intro) with a male MC. So I guess without any explanation shortly after you begin your adventure you suddenly turn into a girl and no one seems to notice. You don't even have any way to switch until after the tutorial.

At least F/GO you pick before the game starts and can still switch through profile options if you want... which is still weird, pic releated.

Speaking of obscure VNs without links. Anyone here tried the JP doujin VN SeaBed? You can get it on the JP DLsite. Seems to be a yuri(or at least subtext?) mystery VN. I'd get it, it's actually pretty cheap (648円) and seems not too short for the price either (470k moji), but JP dlsite needs creditcards so I can't purchase it. It's not on the English dlsite unfortunately, where I could've used paypal.
>>
>>2033235
You can also pay in konbini, I bought games on DLSite like that before.
>>
>>2033241

Well, that's nice if you are in Japan. I'm unfortunately a liiittle far away for that unfortunately. Basically it's paypal or nothing. (I suppose "german bank transfer" would work too.. but if that's possible, paypal would be too)
>>
>>2033235
I've played it, but haven't finished it yet. However it is definitely yuri from start to finish, though the story itself is a little heavy.
>>
>>2033278

Interesting. I figured the story is a bit heavier, something like the infinity games or whatever.
Well, all I can do myself is waiting if a link will pop up at some point. (Or a way I can purchase it, but it's out for several months and if something gets to the English DL site, it's supposedly not taking that long)
>>
>>2033279
I think the recent review by Kastel is a great representation of the work. The writing style is incredibly unique, and most definitely not for everyone.

I would upload the game, however I would really like for it to sell well, and seeing as the recent reviews on the English speaking side has been so positive, I'm going to wait a while, in the hopes that they'll be able to gain a few more purchases first. If I remember in a couple of weeks, then I may upload it.
>>
>>2033314

I can understand that. I'd do that myself as well, if I'd actually be able to buy it. It's just unfortunate that I have no way for payment. But that's how it is. In the end I suppose I'm not really the "target audience" anyway, in a way. Although strangely enough some JP VNs are on the English DLsite, like that cycling Hanabira. Well, who knows how this works.
>>
>>2033314
There are reviews on the English side? But the game isn't on the English side?

uploading or not makes no difference to me since I can't read japanese. It always annoys me how few yuri games come out on eng.dlsite though, even without translations.

And I was just about to ask whether there were any news. Bugger.

Well, my fault for expecting JAST to be on time. But man, they must've really fucked up if fixing the script takes so much time. What the hell made them think they were ready for the release?
>>
>>2033368
ouch
it will be a long thirst after finishing yurirei
>>
>>2033371
>What the hell made them think they were ready for the release?
They were ready on time, except with a shitty translation which they somehow thought they could get away with and nobody would complain. What's taking time isn't fixing the script, it's redoing the entire translation from scratch. The script they had shown with the demo was unsalvageable, and there is no reason to believe that the rest of their script was any better.
>>
>>2033375
>They were ready on time, except with a shitty translation
So they weren't then.
>>
>>2033376
Their 'excuse' seems to be that they had zero QA and just assumed whoever was translating it knew what they were doing, which turned out to be wrong. So it was "ready" in the sense that it had a full script in English, but that script was awful.

So give your thanks to the people who cared enough about Flowers to raise holy hell and make Jast do their jobs right. If it were a bigger company I'd say somebody must have been fired over this but I don't know if they have enough people to fire.

Not like Mangagamer would've had it out already. JAST is probably still faster than Mangagamer would've ended up being with their backlog and all. (Mangagamer would've probably only licensed it this year, after getting through their yuri licenses of last year)

>>
>>2033421
Street Fighter 2.
>>
>>2033417

No, I'm pretty sure these licenses were essentially parallel. They all came in rather short succession and Mangagamer didn't plan to look at other Innocent Grey titles because they still had one they worked on at that time. The "licensing phase" of last year was long since over at the point they've been done with KnS2, so this year would've been the earliest they'd license it, especially because they have to get the other stuff out as well.

In short, Mangagamer chose their licenses last year, which did NOT include Flowers. They got surprised by the license as they thought they'd have the deal with its Dev and don't need to "hurry" and wanted KnS2 out first.
Well, something like that. I could be wrong I guess, but generally speaking a publisher can only publish so much. There's really no reason to assume Flowers would be out by Mangagamer even if they "wanted to license it last year", which, again, I don't think is true.
>>
>>2033417
Both licenses were announced in July 2015, I don't think they would have only just started negotiations and concluded them within that month?
>>
>>2033436
Negotiations can take alot of time. One of the only devs that gives MangaGamer licenses out of nowhere is MOONSTONE, because their games have sold very well through MangaGamer.

>>2033417
MangaGamer has said they never asked about Flowers, since they still had other Innocent Grey/Noesis titles in progress at the time.

Kindred Spirits was being worked on in secret even before it was officially announced. Most announcements don't start out as 0%, it's just that the fanbase doesn't find out until then that it's being translated.

Rage is a result of hype and expectations getting betrayed, but judging from every comments about Hope I've seen on /u/ so far there's been no hype or expectations to speak of. As stingy as I am as a gamer, I'm proud to say I bought Starlight Vega and Kindred Spirits at their current prices. Now the emptiness is really hitting me hard after completing SV and I don't think I can even start KS as I am now

So I'm eyeing Stardew Valley, has anyone gotten gay married in it? If so, how is it? Really need a game that doesn't make me feel sad and empty after it ends
>>
>>2034307
There was an imouto in one of the previous threads posting screenshots with progress, if you're interested.

>after it ends
Well, good news for you: Harvest Moon clones never end. Although I couldn't really get into Stardew Valley after RF4 because all NPC dialogues get repetitive after a while. There are only so much day-to-day lines they have, and characters don't really feel... I don't know, alive? If you're familiar with sandbox games (you probably are) like, say, Skyrim, you might've noticed that NPCs there don't really have much of a backstory or personality. SV is better in that regard but characters still feel a bit generic.
If you're a fan of Harvest Moon games and/or farming simulators, go for it. It's fun while it lasts and there aren't any strong emotions involved so you won't be left with a void inside of you after you quit wit for the final time.
>>
>>2034307
Stardew Valley is more for Harvest Moon nostalgia with the added bonus of gay love interests, the characters felt distinct enough to be interesting but there wasn't a lot of substance to it in the end. Again, more for the Harvest Moon nostalgia. Not bad overall.
>>
>>2034307
>Now the emptiness is really hitting me hard after completing SV and I don't think I can even start KS as I am now
You should definitely read KS, it's many hours of pure yuri bliss and-
>need a game that doesn't make me feel sad and empty after it ends
Nevermind, then.

I'm playing Stardew Valley, it takes a while to get married, since you need to build affection and all, but with one of the most recent patches the dev added some unique post-marriage dialogue. As the anon above me said, the characters aren't particularly deep or anything, but there are some cute cutscenes every time you raise your affection enough.
All in all, if you want to play it only for the marriage aspect you'll probably be disappointed, but the rest of the game is fun enough if you're into farming/mining and the usual HM stuff.
>>
>>2034221

Stardew Valley is nice. The gameplay is top notch. But the social part is a bit lacking.

And the marriage is really cute. Loved how the people comments on the inminent marriage.
>>
>>2034239
As someone who loves those games, i think a yuri one would be great although i think the wide variety of fetishes and other elements to the game is what made it fun for a longer period than focusing on one sexual form.

I think you would have to replace it with something else to have that magic there, having it just 'oh hey your a standard stock girl coming across other not too different girls' would get boring fast, especially when relying on text. Personally i would keep it as monstergirls so you still have that air of excitement when you think 'what will i encounter next' although monstergirl games is a personal crave of mine so replace it with anything just don't copy the format while scrapping out 90% of the varied content.

Some of the older games like Path of Radiancs has a lesbian character. Awakening from what I remember has a little subtext as well
>>
>>2034445
Radiant Dawn has a clear gay girl, but that game doesn't have supports so she doesn't get much characterization. The dlc in awakening has some suggestive stuff for the kid units, but obviously it doesn't go anywhere.

Been answered in past threads. It's yuri.
I believe I've read reports that Riko is legit in love with Mina while Jessica has more of a childish crush
>>
>>2034517
>>2034522
You get tiny sprinklings of delicious subtexty scenes in the everyday life segments. Side character from the demo is outright yuri too.

I would say Jessica's one is more of a familial love. Of the main characters, Riko is the only one with an outright romantic crush (unambiguously stated in text). And of course, it becomes the defining trait of her character in the comedic drama CDs.

MC is... she doesn't do much to return her feelings. In the end, it seems like she does, but it isn't outright stated. Up for interpretation but I of course think that she does return it. Not that it matters though...with that ending.

It's been a while since I played it, but I recall it leaving me hoping they could have resolved it better. Just get it and enjoy the topnotch voice acting.
>>
>>2034445
I remember Blazing Sword having pretty subtexty supports (fucking Florina, I swear). Probably other GBA games as well, Pegasus Knights seem universally gay. But before Path of Radiance subtext was all it had.
You should still play them, though. They're fun. Especially early games, since they aren't so convoluted with all that eugenics bullshit and have pretty neat sprite animations if you're into that.

>Will they ever continue this?
From what they've said about it, they had no idea where the story was going and just slapped 'Chapter 1' onto the game because they didn't have any sort of ending for what plot it suggested.

Now, since they don't really care about plot, they could make up any old nonsense, slap it in, and call it the next chapter, but as a sequel will probably attract fewer customers than 'Sakura Butterflies' would, I don't expect they'll bother.
>>
>>2034884
Sakura Beach 2 didn't sell very well, so I agree that they likely won't bother much, if at all, with sequels in the future.

>they could make up any old nonsense, slap it in, and call it the next chapter
-Find Keira's sister living in the wild.
-Find the star.
-Run into tentacle monster lady again and tame her.
-Return to capital.
-Ardena finally explains significance of the star. Probably with some message about societal stagnation, or preserving the environment thrown in.
-Uses ancient magical powers of the star to fix the Mires.
-Harem Ending

To people unfamiliar with that genre.
>>
>>2035010
"pick these choices to achieve outcome X" is literally the only mechanic most Visual Novels have.
>>
>>2035012
The vast majority of choices are not a case of
>giving your interest the correct answer enough times
but that's how people who don't actually play them tend to assume it would be
>>
>>2035013
In those that actually focus on romance they are but ok.
>>
>>2035018
Nope. What have you played?
>>
>>2035020
The majority of VNs with multiple romance options work with a hidden affection point system, where your choices gain or lose affection points with certain characters and at certain points conversation options are shown/hidden or the story otherwise branches based on those affection points.

It's literally giving the correct answer to your interest enough times.
>>
>>2035023
Even with points based systems, a lot of the choices aren't choosing an answer to give a love interest, because it can be things like who do you choose or where do you go. And actually it's a bold statement to say you know the majority use affection points.

What have you played?
>>
>>2035037
Sure, but you're hair-splitting there. Obviously not all games boil down to 'answer the love interest's quiz questions correctly to bang them', but the underlying concept is that making the right choices is guaranteed to lead you to an ending.

Not necessarily a happy ending, since there are plenty of romantic VNs where some romances are doomed no matter what you do, which is something not always realised by people who don't play a lot of such games.

The naive view from outsiders is often "all you have to do is suck up to any girl and she'll sleep with you, this is a terrible thing to teach players!" but the truth is more complicated. It's just as far to say that all you have to do is "be the sort of person that the love interest wants, and some kind of relationship will happen"
>>
>>2035042
>It's just as far to say that all you have to do is "be the sort of person that the love interest wants, and some kind of relationship will happen"
If that was an accurate description of what the player's involvement is normally like, the genre would be pretty different, so I don't think I was splitting hairs.
>>
>>2035004
> forming emotional bonds with my party members

This is why I'm warily excited about the upcoming Torment game since they been promising something like that with the companions. I just hope it's not gonna be as disappointing as PoE and Wasteland 2 were.
>>
>>2035020
I'm sorry to say but I think you're wrong and that other poster is right, though sometimes they do a better job of disguising the answer. All visual novels, mechanically, can be boiled down to selecting a dialogue choice to achieve a particular outcome. If you want a particular romance, you just have to select the "right" answer enough times.
>>
>>2034868
Not likely since the kindred spirits drama CDs were released as a standalone product. Pyg's were as a bonus. I don't think they will be allowed to sell it as a separate product.
>>
>>2035272
What romance in games doesn't follow that formula when you boil it down?
>>
>>2035272
>All visual novels, mechanically, can be boiled down to selecting a dialogue choice to achieve a particular outcome
Except that's wrong and you'd know it if you really knew the genre. It's a fraction that only have dialogue choices. There are probably even more that have only non-dialogue choices. Games where what route you get comes down only to picking from among locations or heroines aren't unusual.

Even with choices that are dialogue, that ones that you need to get "right" for a particular heroine's route aren't necessarily what to say to that heroine, so don't fit the misconception about what the player does in such games.
>>
>>2035331
What exactly are you even arguing? If there's no choices, then the player has no agency whatsoever in the romance, it's just reading a story. That's fine, it's just not even a game at that point, and it's kinda dumb to even bring it up as a point of contention because it has no relevance.

>Even with choices that are dialogue, that ones that you need to get "right" for a particular heroine's route aren't necessarily what to say to that heroine
Most of the time, it is--or it's about what to do to fit into the particular story for that girl.

Also, lose the condescending "if you knew the genre you'd know this" shit.

>>2035314
That's the point. Which is why it's rather weird to mock things like Bioware romances while this thread is primarily about VNs, which are often not much better (if at all) in terms of compelling romance drama and even worse in terms of "make choice > acquire girl".
>>
>>2035343
>What exactly are you even arguing?
That thinking that player agency in such games is mostly about choosing the right things for the protag to say to the heroine they want to pursue is a misconception (one common among people who aren't really familiar with the genre).

>If there's no choices, then the player has no agency whatsoever in the romance, it's just reading a story. That's fine, it's just not even a game at that point, and it's kinda dumb to even bring it up as a point of contention because it has no relevance.

That's not what you said here though
>>2035331
>All visual novels, mechanically, can be boiled down to selecting a dialogue choice to achieve a particular outcome
You said this was wrong, and have yet to explain why. You refer to misconceptions about saying the right thing to the girl, but that's irrelevant to the point. A visual novel is, mechanically, reading a story and maybe occasionally making a choice from a list of text options. Typically, a romance comes out of making the "right" choices. Maybe it's not always "saying the right thing" to the girl, but it is about selecting the right dialogue options, if there is player agency in the choice at all.

Unless you're being extremely pedantic and taking issue with the phrase "dialogue choice" not including a choice of taking a particular action as opposed to speaking.
>>
>>2035365
>choosing the right things for the protag to say to the heroine they want to pursue is a misconception
And the other anons argued that it didn't matter what the choices are about. At the end of the day it's making choices, even some that are unrelated, and a consequence of some combination(s) of these choices is the protag getting with the girl. It's really not that different compared to the latest BioWare romances, really. For example in DA:I the romance subplot will happen when you have enough approval and express an interest. And while approval can be gained in conversation with the love interest, easily half of it will be gained through making decisions completely unrelated to said love interest.

The only real differences is that RPGs tend to be much more blatant about their underlying mechanic (you usually get a prompt for approval changes), and VNs have a much bigger wordcount devoted to the relationship. Those differences allow VNs to both better hide how they work and make the romance more natural.

>>2035004
>spoiler
Who didn't?
>>
>>2035365
While not all choices are about speaking directly to the heroine, that is intentional hair-splitting if the end result is still Making Choices That Affect The Heroine's Affection Rating.

Now, there are games where you pick a love interest straight out and your choices affect what kind of ending you get, not whether you get together at all. There are games where your romance is doomed no matter what you pick. There are games where you pick a love interest straight out and your choices after that are nothing but flavor-fluff because you're already heading towards the single Good End. There are games where you pick a love interest and that's the only choice you get to make in the entire game. All VNs are not entirely the same.

However, in a pure visual novel, the player's agency pretty much IS limited to 'making the right choices to get the desired outcome'.
>>
>>2035365
>You're sure making it seem like you don't know it.
You're sure making it seem like you have a hard on for arguing semantics for the sake of it.

It doesn't matter if it's "say this thing to the girl of choice to acquire affinity points" or "skip school in order to meet with the girl of choice to start acquiring affinity points". In the end it all boils down to
>make these choices -> girl of choice accepts (or rejects) you

You can argue that in most visual novels the mechanic doesn't feel so hollow and simple as in most western RPGs, due to it generally not being a kind of side quest but the "meat" of the story, but in the end if you simplify it it's basically the same thing.

For what purpose?
>>
>>2035824
I've seen some people so determined to hate English voice acting that they demand Japanese voices for their western games
>>
>>2035845
It's easier to handle so-so acting in a foreign language. You still get the general emotional character of the line, without being distracted by all the little details that would nag at you if you could understand every nuance.

Getting JP voice acting is a bit silly but I can see how it might be more pleasant than low-budget english voicing.

Good English voicing would be better but since even the smaller video game companies tend to rely on the same pool of bad actors who can't pronounce the names of characters....
>>
>>2035857
But it's an OEL game by English-speaking devs, that doesn't take place in Japan or feature Japanese characters.
I could kind of see it for some of their other titles, but Fantasy has nothing to do with Japan.

If it's been included with the purchase of the main game, I can see it happening. For a tokuten to make it to full standalone product? Unlikely.

OST sample tracks:

The song used in the teasers so far is track 15. Following in the footsteps of the greatest songs before it like Tulip, Lily and forget-me-not, this one is also named after a flower: ブーゲンビリア (Bougainvillea).

Voice clips are up on the character page:
-Two of the three Yuzuriha clips are all about Nerine...
-On the other hand, two of the three Rikka clips are all about Suoh...
-Rikka isn't even trying to hide the fact that she is hot for Suoh anymore, is she?
-A lot of the 2nd/3rd clips, which contain lines from the VN itself, are short but will definitely whet your appetite.
-Seems like Yuzuriha will be teasing Suoh at least once. Thankfully.
-Dat Erika 3rd clip. Also, getting awfully lovey dovey with Chidori.
-Chidori is all deredere towards Erika now (but with a hint of jealousy in the 3rd)
-Ichigo's 2nd gives me the feeling that she still doesn't see her fellow girls as a romantic possibility for girls. Could be out of context, but what other context could there be?

Foreign releases require new licensing fees for the voices, regardless of if it was originally a free item. The English release wasn't included in the contract. The English publisher always pays voice fees for English releases of games, etc.

Dark Souls 3 has a possibility for modded yuri, I think. I haven't progressed the NPC's storyline at all so this is all information relayed to you at basically the outset, but one NPC changes sex to the opposite one of your character, and another, eviller NPC mentions that you should try to marry them, with some sinister overtones. So presumably someone could mod the game so the same sex version is in your game, and then you can either do a creepy yandere wedding or save them and get some gratitude.

They have already announced there will be a yuri-only version in the future, so no need to buy this one.
>>
>>2036687
Considering we're still waiting for the yuri version of Nicole after what may be 3 years by now, no need to be in a hurry either.
>>

>future
yeah when we have hover cars and flowers 2 translated.
>>
>>2036691
calling it a version of the same game always seemed like a weird stretch when it was meant to be a totally new game done with the leftover art from the project, and kept getting pushed back because the writers making a new script from scratch each time would suck or quit

>ALISHA SAIL: Compatriot, you are not proceeding.

>DAN CANOE: This is a correct evaluation of the current situation.

>ALISHA SAIL: For what reason are you failing to propel yourself forward? This is a critical juncture.

>DAN CANOE: Propulsion is not a task that I have become accustomed to.

>ALISHA SAIL: That does not seem like a possible occurrence.

>DAN CANOE: And yet it has occurred.

>CASSIDY WOODS: You have witnessed the younger humans to which you have been assigned operate the vehicle in question, correct? Imitate their actions immediately.

>DAN CANOE: Very well.

>(He shuts his eyes for a second and then opens them again.)

>DAN CANOE: I will ensure that you are coated with water. (He splashes Alisha with his paddle.)

>ALISHA SAIL: (looking down) What is occurring? This is not my function.

>DAN CANOE: Ha ha ha. I am amused. I am bored. I miss being connected to the interconnected computerized global communications network. I am going to capsize.

>(He grabs the side of the boat and flips it over.)

>DAN CANOE: (emerging from the water) Vehicle operation complete.

That was interesting. The yuri in it was actually pretty good too.

rising angels last part is out. who is going to spoil the end for us?
>>
>>2036803
Faye and Jade hook up right before Lenna and Sol get back together. It gets incredibly graphic with the sex scenes. The writer then breaks the fourth wall and laughs at yuri fans worldwide, /u/ in specific, in a scene that could be straight out of a James Bond villain rant.

Would buy just for that

>>2036803
I want to know if I should bother with this as well, can anyone deliver?

Seeing description "Raising Angels: Hope is a yuri visual novel" on steam, I should assume it only has female romance options for female MC, right?
>>
>>2036812
>I should assume it only has female romance options for female MC
you should never assume.
>>
>>2036812
It's because original one was a kinetic novel dunno about this one and MC was cucked in the end IIRC
So people are cautious.
>>
>>2036812
It should. Everyone's just wary because in the past he released what was apparently meant to be part 1 of a yuri series and that part 1 ended with her getting NTRed by a guy or something. That wasn't meant to be the final ending but everyone flipped the fuck out and has been hunting for his blood ever since.

So since this game came out in stages, a lot of people are still warily waiting for confirmation that the lesbians don't die or break up
>>
>>2036812
It does, but the romance is pretty light. It gets a little heavier at the end, but it is more a slice of life story as they progress through school.

>>2036817
I am almost at the end. Unless the previous anon was right about the James Bond thing, it ends cleanly in the yuri territory.

I'm almost sad that I will soon no longer get to see Scherza's beautiful alpha face whenever I visit this thread.

I just finished Kindred Spirits, it was my first VN ever actually. Is it normal to feel empty on the inside when it's all over? Either way, any recommendations on what to check out next or should I just pick from the list in the OP?

>should I just pick from the list in the OP
Yes, check out vndb link. It's everything you need.

For most good VNs, yes
>>
>>2036819
>That wasn't meant to be the final ending but everyone flipped the fuck out

Shit like this happens on this very board all the time. It's so stupid. So ridiculous to invest yourself in someting to such a degree that in the end artists can't even make the stories they want to without risking losing an entire email account to death threats.
Why do people get mad at videogames?

The OTP that can end in OT3.

translation never?
>>
>>2037208
I keep trying to find anyone posting the kiss CGs from Rising Angels to use as a new header but it seems like so few bought it that people aren't being very obliging, I suppose I'll have to pick something else.

OT3s are justice. Underrated justice.
