On the plus side, thanks to a printed decal and an old Mr. Freeze head, I have a passable Bizarro. Since he has freeze vision, the blue eyes work pretty well.

Does anyone else think that most of the current lines besides the vanilla stuff (City, Creator, Technic, etc) are an aesthetic mess? I can't get into Ninjago, Nexo Knights, cape heroes (SPECIALLY The Lego Batman Movie), Minecraft or new Star Wars because they all look bloated as fuck.

Well you have to give Nexo the benefit of the doubt on that, since Ninjago has 4+ years on it now and I can certainly remember some stinker in their line.

Vehicle shit can be especially bad, as there is only so much that can be done with "Giant Car" before it gets old.

The Drop Bot Dragon or "Hotspur" however, is actually pretty awesome in show, and looks to be actually more articulated in Toy form.
Since I loved the Cole's Mini Dragon from last year, it's great that we're getting a Nexo incarnation, even more so when it's the FIRST VEHICLE IN THE SHOW TO ACTUALLY USE THE BATTLE SUIT COMBINATION GIMMICK!

I'm quite an impulsive Lego buyer, and own the black dragon from Ninjago, because I fell in love with that thing at first sight in the store. I really like big ceratures like that!

That mostly sounds like the Fortrex, the Nexo Knights near literal flag-ship set and mobile base of operations.
It's a freaking CASTLE TANK, so of course anyone not whining about "muh classic castle" loved it.

There is also Axl's Tower Carrier, which is a more traditional wheeled APC sort of deal, except it also tows a mobile Siege Tower/Weapon Turret, as well as General Magmar's Siege Machine (OF DOOM!), that pops up from a six wheeled APC form to a demonic Siege Tower.

Yeah, Ninjago has had a LOT of Dragons, with a good deal of them being black due to be either the Black Ninja's or Evil.

This is the critter I'm talking about though, and he is both mass-able and adorable.

I wonder if after Nexo goes the way of Chima the next theme will be pirate related. I hope so. I need more lego galleons in my life.

I was invited at an provate screening were it was shown the 4th season of Lego Nexo Knights.
Important things to be known aboit season 4:
-Clay will return.
-Lord Krankleskull speaks in an language that only Momstrox understands.
-Macy is pregnant with Clay ( her father was so furious).
-The Roguls can talk!
-We get teasers for the future seasons.
-Merlok joinsthe fight.
-Krankleskull will escape with Monstrox.
-We get a Ninjago reference.

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNND, shes done! Pic related are the stand outs from the set. Falcons wings are mixel jointed (+1 china!), Cap and Stark suffer from downey face syndrome (no pun intended and an easy enough fix) and Stans face is.....questionable, but the regular Stan Lee figures from china are like .50 cents, so im just going to order another one for his head. Also comes with White Tigers FATHER as a figure. Another neat thing is the UCS plate for the set is EMBOSSED instead of just being a sticker. Funny thing is, the instructions show it as being a sticker, they also show numbered bags like lego usually does, but they were NOT numbered. Wasnt missing any pieces at all, parts were GREAT quality (aside from all the clear windows being a little scratched and scuffed here and there, but ive gotten them straight from lego that way as well. No big.), most of the figs are actually good (except for the faces I mentioned, also crossbones has a cartoony and goofy face, and spodermun is obviously ripped off the mighty micros version just with normal legs.).

All in all DEFINITELY worth the around $60 I paid for the whole thing off aliexpress.

I do both? Usually I don't have parts in the right colors, or too few of a part I need a lot of, or I run out of parts halfway through. LDD helps finish ideas and get lists of parts I need

Honestly that's a good thing. LDD is really great for saving stuff once you lose inspiration - plowing through almost never produces results as good as if you'd waited for inspiration for the rest of it.

It is in the sense that each named character gets like a dozen vehicles that they aren't even shown to use in the show (hi King's Mech!) but when you remove that its rather bare at the moment: if you limit purchasing to getting at least one copy of all the important figs, you can do it in less than 10 sets. Aesthetically, it's similar to the Space sets with Knighton being primarily blues and grays accented by transparent orange, and Jestro's forces generally being dominated by a single primary color, such as blue or red.

Anybody else interpret minimum lot average as 'go shop somewhere else?' shit's fucking annoying.

Why Lego doesn't make original themes like before?
They had so many themes like:Bionicle,Atlantis,Power Miners,Castle 2007,Mars Mission,Space Police,pharoh's Quest,Alien Conquest ,Dino,Monster Fighters,Exo Force,Galaxy Squad,Hero Factory,etc.
Now what I see is Ninjago,Star Wars,Licensed themes and Nexo Knights(ok,I love this one).

Loads of those you listed are fairly recent though.
Lego does still make original themes, it's just at the moment ninjago is overshadowing them.

I assume you mean the cyborg girl. Just got my second one yesterday. Best way to feel for her is by her body armor, which is sort of like a big round-ish piece. it should feel solid until you feel it a bit more, which at that point, you should be able to push the bag into the part where her torso goes.

As for hiker and archer, yeah, pretty much what the other anon said, just the backpack and quiver is best, though if you're having trouble feeling stuff out, I wouldn't suggest trying to ID the archer by his hood. I've done this a fair few times and gotten the wrong fig multiple times.

Yes and unfortunately TLG does not offer replacement parts for CMFs. They only offer you a free random CMF bag from the current wave if you bitch hard enough.

When my zombie businessman's briefcase broke in half the first time I closed it, I called to complain and the best they could do was send me a replacement blind bag, until I pointed out that the black briefcase was also in another set and got the rep to order a free replacement for the piece in THAT set instead, because their system wouldn't let them send out parts by looking them up through the CMF "set" that had them.

So I had this thing happen just now where I finished washing and drying my Legos that I got in the mail today and put this piece on my Fighting Sibling that I paid more than three Murrikoins for, and I think I might like the original version of her armor I had instead.

Yes, Brickforge centaur body.

It's a single piece with the minifig torso on top, just like minifig hips. With a brickbuilt body the torso would easily fall, but with this it won't budge from place. It also has two back studs. The printing is on point.

The only obvious problem is that some minifig accessories and clothing won't fit.

Anyone here know if Rotta the Hutt is in LDD? Or better yet, can anyone tell me what pieces will fit in his arm holes? I just got two of his bodies for like $2 each, but his fucking arms (the four or so that are available on ALL of BL) are like $8 each.

Whatever, man. Toys are meant to be played with. I don't buy these Ideas sets to sit on a shelf and collect dust, I buy them to pose the minis and photograph stupid scenes and just generally screw around.

This rocket's fine for a display piece, but it doesn't have any play value.
