They made for this year Trolls sets.
>>6290143
>Enlighten won me
Me too, even with the droopy dirigible.
Got pic related today for a co-worker. She was jealous of my Hotdog Man, so I got her that and Mr. Banana.
They're not terrible knockoffs. Banana guy has short sleeves, but the uncovered part of the arm is fleshy. Hotdog Man's mustard must be Dijon. It's darker than I'd like.
Messin around with the Space Adventure sets.
Guess who?
>>6290156
I'm not even sure what this guy is supposed to be in this setting, but I want this and the hot waifu in the back.
>>6290748
I like how the enlighten sets aren't afraid to be a bit... lewd with their minifigs.
>>6290767
gotta admit, I kind of want this just for the windshield and purple glass bits.
Anyone have any idea how that jetpack's put together?

"What A Squidiculous situation you've found yourself in, Roger!"
Just put in an order for this set along with the second wave of Enlighten's CMFs. I've been waiting for it since they teased it at some Chinese toy show a year or two ago.
>>6291049
yup
thats my fetish
>>6291051
Huh, that actually looks really good.
They're taking preorders now for Kaneda's bike. Getting put out by Xingbao which is apparently part of Lepin. Definitely going to get it once it's properly available.
>>6290456
Unlikely. There was no coverage of Kre-O at NYTF this year. The most we can hope for is that budget retailers will do a heavy restock of those repackaged Transformers Kre-O sets and Microchangers in anticipation of the new movie. I doubt even that will happen, though.
>>6291145
This thing's big!
>>6290739
Neat, how are the sets? How is the quality?
>>6290739
New alien from the minifig series
Neat
Well, when I was at the China Toy Fair where they showed the new Enlighten sets,I talked with the designers and they said that they have big plans for Enlighten for the next decade,I asked when the sets will release and they said september(they are still prototype stage). They also said about other themes that they have planed, they are making their own CCBS line and their system will be different from TLG's one. They made the decision to make their own sets in 2014 after they saw the succes of The Lego Movie.
>>6291442
Cool, did you ask them about the other lines they work right now?
>>6291611
Yes,they work on six lines(they could've tell me only about three lines).
The ones that they told me were the ccbs one, maya civilization line(it will have scifi elements in it) and a dino line. That's all they told me.
>>6291293
The site didn't seem to tell you the size so i was trying to guess based on the bricks. What do you think, like 10-12 inch length?
>>6291419
When I saw that I thought, just for a moment, that they'd ripped off one of my MOCs
These warcraft sets look amazing, I'm pumped for them, who exactly are the villains though, will there be horde characters?

>>6293241
They have better plastic quality than Mega Construx(Bloks)
Got the Sluban robot i ordered when the last thread was up. Brick quality is fine but they make some weird design choices that result in the build being super flimsy. Still looks really cool for 7 bucks.
>>6293412

Are those hammers mounted so they pound as the wagon moves forward? That's so utterly useless but awesome at the same time.
I think I'll probally get this when it comes out.
I ordered pic related just now.
My history sucks: Is this meant to be Mayan or Aztec? Or is it sort of undifferentiated ancient alien technology period warrior guy?

>>6293966
Yup, Aztec Warrior.
>>6293949
>>6293966
>>6294029
I'm wondering if I should have bought ten of them to be mooks to fight my Super Sentai team.
Already got a bunch of pic related guys (Shocker Combatsmen from Kamen Rider if ever I saw them in Lego-compatible form).
Now that I'm coming close to putting that team together, my brain has started watching for different guys to use as enemies for them.
I'm thinking about buying a bootleg version of the big "Bionicle" General Greivous to be a giant monster for them to fight.
Unfortunately, I have no plans for a giant robo for them. I feel like it would be cheating not to have the different parts piloted by minifigs, and I just don't have the resources (bricks or engineering ability) to put a beast like that together.

>>6296885
The Wange jet doesn't seat a full minifigure, does it? Also, did you really need two streetwalker minifigures that badly? I would have just gone with two police trucks, then.
>>6297028
>The Wange jet doesn't seat a full minifigure, does it?
No, the cockpit's one large piece without enough room. It uses a not-quite-lego minifig head atop a small Racers knockoff body.
And I wanted some parts off that gunship...thing.. getting Streetwalker Twins is just a bonus.
>>6286221
Different anon, but I got a shipping notification from an Aliexpress seller yesterday. According to USPS tracking, the package is originating from Tonga. That's got to be a bug in the tracking system, right? Or is there really a vast complex of Chinese fulfillment centers situated on a small island in the Southern Hemisphere? I can't believe it's somehow more cost effective to ship from fucking Tonga.
>>6296885
Why do you like the plane? Does the Wange grey match lego grey?
Curious as a shop near me has had some of these on the shelves for years now. But to me they look too much like Airfix quick build kits.
>>6290969
> Simple black head with white eyes
Didn't those first appear on the Magneto Mighty Micro? I can see them being some of the most useful Lego heads.
>>6298615
same anon as that one, still waiting on the package from Tonga. USPS says it's in the States now, at least.
did you buy from iToys World by any chance?
>>6298623
>Curious as a shop near me has had some of these on the shelves for years now.
Where in the world are you?
And the plane is just a really good parts pack for the starfighter abomination I've got in mind. The wing pieces are nice, it's got some missiles and other bits Lego doesn't make, and 25 total 1x2s with studs on both sides. The color matches Lego dark bley exactly, quality is good enough to mix the two together.
I'm thinking of doing an obsessively detailed review while I've still got it mostly built.
>>6298657

>>6298657
Cambodia.
Shit for most things, but the Chinese brick selection isn't bad. They got those annoying hulkbuster things in the other day.
>>6298691
Ah, cool.
And those hulkbusters are looking better and better, think I might get that gray Mk25.
>>6298644
Yep. I'm not worried about receiving my order or anything, I just thought it was funny/strange.
In other news, I finally got around to building this thing which I ordered months ago. The kit's not bad, but I discovered the seller had included a bonus minifigure when I gave the bubble mailer a shake. It was a bootleg Spider-Man. I would leave the seller additional positive feedback, but they have apparently closed up shop.
So, who makes a good Hitler minifig?
I know about the one from Enlighten, but I remember seeing others.

You'll want to have Google translate it for you. For some reason, Aliexpress decided to display in German a couple weeks ago, and I haven't bothered to figure out how to put it back to English.
>>6305923
Just delete the "de" from the url.
>>6306072
Wow, really? No.
When the page refreshes the de is there again. It's something with the site settings. It doesn't bother me enough to figure it out.
>Fiddlesticks
Where do these names come from?
>>6306373
Figured out the German thing. The "world" version of the site is English, but there's a language dropdown. Don't know how I could have possibly gotten to that. I wonder if it was from someone else's link? Whatever, I'm dumb being dumb.
Also, I kinda want to get this bus set. I like the friendly green and I miss living in a city that has buses.
Will this be a fun set?
>>6306455
That looks neat.
And like it might have some interesting pieces Lego doesn't make, I wonder how the roof and greebling are put together.

>>6307725
Armybuilding monks? Why?
Just curious. I like the idea. I just bought a small army (okay, only five) of pic related because they seem like fun monster mooks for my super sentai group to fight.
>>6307725
Aliexpress. Dead certain.
>>6307734
Assuming it's all been you, you've posted a few times about your sentai team. Pics of the figs?
>>6307943
It's all been me. I'll post pics as soon as I have them assembled. I'm waiting on a Bricklink order that will have a large number of the pieces.
They won't actually be much to look at, at first. I just put together a set of all-one-color (except for white arms) figs with racing helmets with black visors.
I'd like to give them matching white scarves (like Boba Fett's scarf) and, as long as I'm dreaming, matching logo stickers on their torsos.
I'm also going to equip them with matching guns and laser swords.
I'm also thinking maybe instead of white scarves, possibly neck brackets to put stud mounts on their backs to hold their guns.
If I'm lucky, the rest of the pieces are in the mail today. Guess I'll go check! I'll post later.
>>6307960
>white scarves (like Boba Fett's scarf)
are you ordering them from capes4minifigs?
>>6307943
Well, I got the package I was hoping for. Opened the others, assembled what I could. I accidentally only ordered one black visor.
>>6308044
I hadn't thought of it, but now that I've looked at their site, I might. I might cut a bit off to slim them down some. Thanks for the suggestion!
>>6308123
The green helmet I got is apparently a knockoff, which I wouldn't mind except it doesn't fit on a standard Lego head.
I wonder how responsive the Bricklink seller will be? Guess we'll see.
Sorry about the size of these photos. I took pics of the X-Agents truck set too (seen in the background above) but I don't want to annoy people with the potato photo size.
>>6308127
photo size is fine, nigga
>I wonder how responsive the Bricklink seller will be? Guess we'll see.
Every one I've dealt with was quick to correct mistakes, shouldn't be a problem
showing them pic should help.
Okay, so here's a boring side view of the truck. It's almost totally black with light blue highlights. It will have more blue once the decals are added: There's a good number of them.
This is the biggest build I've done in centuries, so it was kind of hard, with almost all black bricks. Several times, I ended up deciding there were pieces missing, only to locate them later when there were fewer in the way.
The instructions were good, though. I somehow expected them to be ambiguous or skip steps or something, but they didn't.
>>6308182
Well, it LOOKS pretty cool.
I see some parts are not fully seated or uneven, how's the clutch? in general, how would you say the quality compares to Lego and maybe other brands?
The truck can is completely opaque. The "window" area is made up of silver grey bricks.
The front/roof of the cab is held on by only a few studs, keeping it removable to reveal the driver, Fiddlesticks.
>>6308187
>I see some parts are not fully seated or uneven
That's entirely due to my own retardation, even though that drives me nuts, I don't always notice. I really apologise for that.
The clutch is great. I didn't notice any appreciable difference from real Lego.
The cockpit is surprisingly cramped. I guess Fiddlesticks drives with only an internal viewscreen to see out with.
At least there's a built-in holder for his space pistol.
The driver has ready communication with the crew in back at the big swivelling control station.
Each side has a big armored panel that hinges down to lay almost flat for access to the inside.
There's a big control panel on a swivelling stand. The viewscreen is made up of two translucent flat plates with claws on one side. Half of one of the claws broke off. That was, perhaps, the only indication of lesser quality of the pieces.
There's a station to the rear that holds two stud-flinger guns, in case you have some studs you want to lose. There's also a spot to put a minifig-size briefcase (since they're agents), but I don't put the case there because it's not really held in place by anything.
The rear of the truck also has an armored drop-down door.
Also pictured: The walker mecha thing. It's a pretty neat little thing. The big upper body, the high seat and the long swingy arms remind me of the cat-catching robo suit in that old PS1 game, Tail Concerto. Except the driver has a scary dark helmet instead of a furry police dog head.
The rear section of the truck holds a little flying drone guy held on an arm mount to keep him from knocking around back there.
The Red wanted to be in the picture too.
The roof of the back section also opens up to launch the drone straight up.
This is the drone. Sorry I don't have clear flight stand pieces.
There's also this smaller drone guy. He doesn't have his own special rack, so I just put him in the back with the bigger drone.
He might be small, but he's still big enough to menace Red a little bit.
Detail of the rigging that holds the rear top on. It stays in place by a stud at each corner.

News from Hasbro:
Hot on the heels of The Bumblebee Movie logo trademark, Hasbro has applied for another brand new Transformers related Trademark at the United States Patent And Trademark Office.
What’s interesting is the fact that the trademark description is very descriptive unlike previous Transformers trademarks.
Cybertronics
Trademark ID: 87443682
Trademark Date: 05/15/2017
Owner: Hasbro Inc.
Trademark Description: Toy robots; buildable toy robots; toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual forms
The trademark is obviously a wordplay of the names Cyber + Electronics or Cyberton + Electronics.
We currently do not know for what purpose this new trademark will be used but there may very well be electronics involved along with a construct-able functionality similar to what Lego has to offer with their Technics line.
The image used for this news post is Kre-O Bumblebee and does not relate to the content of the news post.

>>6330290
Ehh, it's probably not a good idea to read too much into this. It might just be closer to Constructbots than Kre-O. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see Hasbro reentering the premium building block marketplace.
What type of hazards do enlighten brand bricks pose to my health?
I was thinking about buying a enlighten brand set the legendary pirate ship specifically. I just don't want to contact fumes or lead.
>>6333684
Seconding this. I've bought minifigs from SY and Decool, and I have kept them in a separate bag so far. Are there tests you can do to see if they're toxic at all?

Hello! My friend wanted to be a designer at Lego but he didn't get the job and he didn't like what Lego has become,so he decided to be a designer for Enlighten.Because Enlighten needs many but many designers he got the job. He told me that he is in a team that's working on a "Aztec Civilization" line. The series is supposed to have giant statue robots,Cyber-Aztec warrior, super advanced temples with UFOs to launch from it,there are also Aztec like aliens and they fight demons that use magical artifacts and vehicles. Another line that he heard is a Dino line,it's steampunk and ia more like "Cowboys vs Dinos".
There are also more Space Adventure sets coming,an CCBS like theme,it's more like Bionicle from 2001 and "VoodooHeads"(He told me about this line,I don't know that much about it) with organic pieces, technic and launchers.
There is also a new firefighters line combined with police,it's about those firefighters fighting fire like creatures/monsters that attack the City. There are also more Cherry sets and a Monster line in the works with more Army sets. That's all what he knows at this moment.Goodbye and have a nice day.

> 1 order finally showing shipped 2 weeks after purchase
> 1 order delivered to wrong city in the wrong state
> 1 order in limbo, no tracking updates for 2 weeks
please tell me I'm just having some bad luck and this isn't just normal for aliexpress
>>6343745
>tfw three orders all in the wind, between 40 and 51 days and counting since shipped
My first orders were made around Chinese New Year last year and as a result I had to wait 53 and 60some days respectively for the two orders, at the time I assumed CNY was the chief cause of the delay but now I'm not so sure. Between free but slow China mail and inefficient as hell Canada post I'm shafted, if I don't see anything tomorrow though I gotta start messaging sellers, there's about 10 t0 15 days left on those orders to open a dispute. Tracking never updates after leaving China unless you actually pay some shipping, for the one order I had some shipping costs on anyway. Crazily enough that order arrived in a week, faster than some Bricklink orders I've had within my own province
All I can say is best of luck to us both that we finally get our stuff.
>wait time for delivery: 51 days
>being able to pose Lego Hitler at the foot of Churchill statue: priceless
>>6343745
> 1 order delivered to wrong city in the wrong state
This happened to my last Aliexpress order. I can only guess that some postal worker tossed it into the wrong sorting chute once it cleared customs. It maybe added a day to the overall delivery time, but that's the postal service for you.
I've had the other stuff happen to orders, too. Some had positive outcomes, some negative. Most of the transactions I've had were pretty much stress-free. The trick is not to stress yourself.
>>6343950
Sorry, I should walk back my previous statement a little. If the tracking status shows "Delivered at" mailbox/residence/whatever, then you may want to verify that the seller sent you the correct tracking number. They may have mixed your tracking number with that of another order.
If the tracking status only reads "Arrived at Post Office," or something along those lines, then your order will most likely be rerouted back to your city. It's rare for a package with tracking to make it all they way to delivery with errors.
>>6344006
Oh I see. Yeah, I asked the seller to verify address and tracking number. He seems to be ignoring me.
oh well, at least I can open a dispute in another 51 days!
Just bought a Mini Cooper Lepin set.
Impulses got the better of me this time.
Opened some of these Kazi sets that come with a minifig and a mini vehicle that has the same color markings.
Someone told me that the vehicle builds are taken from Lego Dimensions sets, which I can see with pic related: It's the Delorian from the Back to the Future Dimensions set.
The first set I opened was actually the blue one with the little drill-mobile. At first, I thought they had forgotten to pack in the tires, so it was just sitting there on the grey plastic rims.
Then I found the actual rubber tires in their own little baggy in the shipping pouch. The tires for these sets get packed separately. That's how it was for all of them.
These two guys have the same haircut, but the black guy isn't just serious, he's pissed. I don't know why. His partner vehicle is pretty neat.
This guy isn't as pissed. Probably because he has a helmet with goggles.
His little space ship was a lot of fun to build, although there was one part that didn't work: The binoculars part that you see a lot in Lego sets with the single stud hole on the underside. There were a couple of those pieces included to be boosters on the back of the ship. Unfortunately, the eyepiece part of the binoculars sticks out just a little too far, so the pieces didn't fit where the instructions had them.
No biggie, I just put them towards the outside of the body and filled in the gaps with stud-launcher ammo, which happened to be the right color for the build.
>>6348313
damn that hair is ugly.
>>6348313
>The tires for these sets get packed separately.
I think it's due to tires in the older Kazi sets fusing to pieces while in the box. I had a few older sets, they'd bond to clear bits and such with contact and time.
>>6349315
Sorry about that. I've had shit going on and this thread moves really slow. That was my stupidness rearing its ugly head.
Anyway, I apologize.

>>6351583
I've only got one still in limbo and one I'm about to open a dispute on.
What are you waiting on?
>>6351603
First order is three different DKR Banes, microfighter LAAT and a few random figs. Getting a Bane off Bricklink wasn't an option between availability and ridiculous prices, I went with a store that had three variants so at least one should be good, also one of them comes with an actual mask piece.
>>6351616
Second one I made mainly cuz I saw this massive packet of assorted minifig weapons while looking for Banes, added a couple figs of interest.
>>6351618
This other one I made a week later on a whim when I remembered there was a Trump "superhero" fig complete with MAGA hat, managed to find a store that also appears to have the other variant of Captain Hydra I really wanted. I made an order way back when Ali was having their anniversary sale and went with a store that advertised both variants of Cap Hydra but when it arrived (in a week lol) it was just two of the one type. I contacted the seller and he said they only had the one so I just let it go, hoping this time it'll be the right one. And again I filled it out a bit with a few other randoms.
>>6351616
>three variants so at least one should be good
haha, I guess the bootlegs are cheap enough.
Nice picks, now I want a few of those, and that massive weapons pack.
>>6351630
It can be dangerous to shop for one fig and suddenly you're looking at everything else a store has to offer, a cheap fig here and there and suddenly it's adding up, a lot like Bricklink orders heh.
The weapons pack was about 9 bucks, described has having 500 pieces total, I figured the price was right for a grab-bag of minifig firearms.

>>6352989

>>6354321
Planetside..okay, I can see that.
They're decent parts packs, too, Gudi is the best Lego clone I know about.
>>6352497
and the other two sets. I ended up missing only one piece.
Opened another one of these today. This makes 6 of 8.
Nifty little helicopter. Only complaint is that the tail fin's grip is loose so it wants to hang down. I stuffed a tiny scrap of candy wrapper under there and it stays.
The minifig just looks pissed that the ear holes in his hair piece are so low.
>>6355019
The translucent pieces (the canopy and the studs near the back) are grey/brown instead of yellow like they are in the instructions. The lines on the minifig's costume match the pale yellow/tan of the helicopter's skids and tail fin. I guess they couldn't find a translucent color that matched so they just went with the dull smoky color.
And another. It's got purple. Minifig has printed breast lines and a hair piece that looks like a purple onion. She looks kinda disgusted with it.
I'm not sure what the deal is with the vehicle. It's some kind of fighter jet I guess, with lots of shooters on the front and, inexplicably, a clip holding a knife on one side.
>>6356232
It's Boulder Blaster. Those knives (on both sides) are supposed to be wing blades.
Today was the last chance for the first two of my three missing orders to arrive before the deadline, neither was in the mail so I contacted both sellers, one has extended the deadline by 30 days (the arms shipment) and the other hasn't responded yet, all I can do for now I guess.
Any anons here know anything about the Star Diamond brand? Is there a catalog/set listing anywhere?
>>6356466

I started a dispute on one of mine yesterday, the seller was so bad with replies I can't tell if he even understands I've got a problem.

Why the fuck would there be lead inside of plastic bricks?
Thats a fucking metal.
If anything, the bricks are full with softeners (to ease the production/reduce the amount of needed quality control) and parting compound.
Since there are plenty of different variants of these, its hard to say if they use the healthy ones. Maybe.. but maybe they don't.
Then again, you aren't eating the bricks.
>>6358993
I think the issue was about lead being used in paint.
>>6358993
you're responding to a fool trying to start a new meme.
>>6292047
It's loosely based on World of Warcraft, there's undead and orcs and humans and elves and a lot of beasties from the warcraft world.
And along with that comes the airships.
>>6357921
You can always contact a seller on eBay/AE and see if they can source the set you want. They can be very accomodating.
Finally got one of my orders, fittingly enough it's the last one that still had about 5 days left on its deadline. It's a sliver of hope that I'll eventually get my other stuff I guess, I'm happy too that the Captain Hydra is indeed the one I was hoping for.
>>6361134
>inb4 skin tone is too light
I got this mainly for the hat, and for memes naturally.
This little set is 8/8 of these Tron-esque Kazi sets with the Dimensions vehicles packed with minifigs.
I like the colors in this set, although the football facemask on the helmet is slightly loose so it falls down lower than it's supposed to. Also, the logo is printed off center on the forehead of the helmet.
I really like the little vehicle, though! It's a fun, fast-looking speedster with guns built in, in case you don't have enough minifig guns.
To sum up: I can definitely recommend this set of sets (I don't think you can get them individually) of you like the Tron-esque minifigs and pieces.
The little vehicles aren't really worth the price all on their own. Except for the printed ones, the parts aren't anything special.
If you're just looking for a little something to give yourself on this or that day, this collection will give you eight self-gifts that offer something more than just a CMF at a fraction of the cost.
Thanks for putting up with my drawn-out review process and happy building!
>>6362482
They look neat. Thanks for the review.
>in case you don't have enough minifig guns.
Not of those in pearl dark gray, I don't.
I was out shopping and saw a couple new Kre-O repacks. They were new to me, anyway. First up is D&D Fortress Tower.
Second was this repack of Jazz and the basic Bumblebee. One thing that surprised me is that there's no longer any price difference between the "large" and "medium" sets.
Look! It's bootlego Luke Skywalker! With the black hand and the green lightsaber! Did I win?
>>6364051
where did you find these? I heard they recently repacked the GI Joe thunderwave boat and I fucking NEED IT.
>>6364179
Don't blame you. Hasbro put out six different OPs over Kre-O's original run, and the closest they came to nailing the character was the Kreon.
>>6364196
Yes. I believe "minifigure" is actually trademarked by Lego(?), but has been genericized by building block fans.
>>6364241
Dollar General. I've only seen the Thunderwave boat set once at a Dollar General, and that was after going to three others in my area.
