Yo-Kai Watch thread.

We can add New Zealand to the list of countries with Yo-Kai Watch toys and show. Unfortunately my country is unmitigated shit when it comes to toys, so we don't have the transformers, the mood reveal figures or the plushies. The watch itself also costs over $40. We also started with just Wave 1 as always, but I hage a faint hope that we'll see later waves if the series is popular enough.
How is the line doing in other countries these days?

The watch is on sale at Big W here in Kangarooland for 30 bucks.

I wanted to get one, but it literally doesn't have an actual watch function, so fuck it.
>>
>>5551668
You would seriously walk around with a yokai watch if it can tell time?
>>
>>5551684
Not him, but I would sometimes for shits and giggles. As it is now though, literally all it does is play the summoning songs (it also goes "uh-uh-uh" if you can get it to read the medal wrong, but I gather it's hard to make the US one do it) which I can get for free on Youtube.

At least the Japanese one doubles as a flashlight.

Hey guys! I just got a used Revoltech Stormtrooper off eBay. I dig the crap out of it, but the joint on the right shoulder and the neck are super loose (the swivle part, not the peg). Basicay his head and arm just flop around making posing impossible. Any fixes?

Maybe we could evolve this to a stop motion general? I remember a couple months. We had a thread where some creative anons took part and made gifs based on pic related. I thought the thread was archived but I cant find it. If anyone has samples from the thread feel free to repost them. If not lets do it again. I'll repost the two I made.

Feel free to share other animations.

Also, did this really need it's own thread.

Just a reminder to all who wanted some generic knights, or skeletons and trolls, the Mythic Legions wave 1.5 preorder ends today (Monday 3-14)

You can order them at the 4H's store.

If the army builders go back up I'd get a few maybe. The prices aren't too bad, but the hike between the builders and the regular characters is way off for some of them. Some do have an impressive amount of paint.

Not really interested in this wave 1.5.
>>
>>5550281
I got two crusaders and 3 iron skellies from 1.5, in addition to one of each of the others.

Problem is that if the trolls bomb, which is looking to be the case, then we can pretty much kiss any other large figure or set goodbye because this "proves" it won't sell. Companies do this sort of thing all the time, it really is unfortunate.
>>
>>5550460
Maybe. This is still the 4H we're talking about. If something is their baby, they tend to keep supporting it even if it's not practical in a financial sense.

Oldest are the ones on the left, newest are the ones on the right with the holes in the pegs.

I know this not because I'm an expert, just in general from my experience buying Lego for the last 20 years.

I'm not sure about specific years, but the ones with the holes in them started coming out within the past 10 years at least.

If you live in the tropics like me, where it's humid-as-fuck, it's best to open up the figures because the packaging will degrade rapidly.

The worst is the clear rubber bands Hasbro has been using. They dry up, become brittle, then into plastic dust. During which, they have a chance of leaching whatever paint's underneath.
>>
>>5550089
Depends who you got.I liked alot of the 3.5 Episode 3-EU stuff.
Got Legacy Plo Koon? The one with the Saber Gauntlet and cloth waist? Keep him sealed.
And better sell him to me since he's so bad you won't need him.

So I'm not sure if you guys can help me but I figured it was worth a shot.

I'm meeting my long time online boyfriend in person in a couple weeks. He is from Australia and I'm American. I am going there. I wanted to take a gift along with me.

I was thinking of a model car. He has told me he's always loved classic American cars and he's way into cars in general.

I just don't know where to start looking for something like this or what price range I would be looking at? Maybe you guys could point me in the right direction?

Not looking for hot wheels or anything, but a nicely sized replica. He's quite partial to vintage corvettes bs mustangs.

I also have roughly two and a half weeks to get it here with shipping.

Thanks in advance.

Get him a 1/18 scale from a brand like ERTL, they make plenty of things like Corvettes, Mustangs, etc. The best place to buy is probably eBay.
>>
>>5549914
Thanks anon
>>
>>5549914
Ertl is horrible, but affordable. If you really want to impress him, buy him a CMC or Exoto. Very expensive but trust me, he'll be impressed.

But even Hot Wheels Elite is MILES ahead of Ertl. Ertl is essentially jada level shit, and really feel like cheap toys you can buy at any store.

Alternatively you could spend accouple hundred on a nice 1:43, or even only $30-60 on a nice, but not super nice one.

As he's an aussie maybe you should grab him the 1:43 AutoArt interceptor/enemy car from Mad Max. Those are nice.
